    I've never seen anything quite like this. The sound system together with the lights switching on and off during dialogue to replicate scenes really brings everything to life. It almost feels like being in a museum watching your Millennium Falcon. Amazing job man!

      I think CGI have the favors of most studios, once the modelisation is done, they can use it in any way they want. I've talked about it with someone else in the comments, but most of CGI lack a spark of life. Models+CGI is the best combo in my opinion. Maybe Lucasfilm has not the right people to do this kind of work? I would be surprised if so, but who knows!

    Kudos for building a V1 (concept). Just imagine a little gyro/gimbal system here and there, plus a little rotation, you literally could have your model behave similarly to the one use during filming.

    • @seppunsystems
      @seppunsystems  2 года назад +1

      A kind of gimbal was the original plan, but routing cables inside it wasn't possible. I wanted to have a mechanism as discreet as possible, allowing rotation would have required a very visible one. Choice wasn't easy, I totally agree that rotation and inclination on both X and Y axis would have been awesome.
