I've not made a kit with fringe but when I do, I will be coming to your video! It's looks rather complicated to learn from a picture. This is a lovely kit and I think it's worth the hassle with the fringe because the snowman really does look excellent!
I discovered that putting a bit of seam sealant on any edge that needs fringe makes it much sturdier and easier to stitch. I also have to check directions every time! 😅

Yes, I have to say that I do like it better with the fringe.
