I have a cockatiel named, Presley who likes to grab my needle when I am cross stitching. He loves sparkly things! I always have to give him something else to play with to keep him occupied. Thanks so much for this tutorial. I am working on my first felt ornament. It is a Thanksgiving panda by Merry Stockings. It is just too cute and hope it is just as cute when I am finished.

I made these up right away, they are so cute! Regular embroidery scissors kill my fingers for anything besides snipping threads so I use the spring loaded Fiskars.

Oh, I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one who LOVES these! I use the spring loaded Fiskars to snip threads and the large handled embroidery scissors by Gingher for cutting felt. We each are so wonderfully unique!
