A dedicated husband, dad, grandfather(of 13?) and sheriff of 50 years! It’s not just a job to Sheriff Judd, it’s his life. He loves helping keep his community safe, that’s why he does what he does and he is a special man.
He hasn’t been sheriff for 50 years, but he’s been with the sheriffs department for 50 years. Worked his way up from just a patrol deputy, all the way to sheriff. He is a national treasure though for sure.
I really respect this journalist (yes that is what he is) for portraying Sheriff Judd as the wonderful man at all corners that he is. It takes a real journalist to not politicize a series like this. I have hope for news agencies everywhere because I see these folks doting over their sheriff and portraying him (Sheriff Grady) in a good positive and wholesome light. Not trying to bring him down. This county and the whole country are better because of a man named Grady Judd.

We have put up with corruption and illegal activity all the way up to the highest level of government the country will suffer. If only America was lead by thousands of Sherriff Grady it would be a safe and happy place to live again. Enough with thug mentality and corruption.
Thanks to the family of Sheriff Grady Judd for supporting him in his role in the county and state. Yes with a supportive family he is a total success & even though I don’t live in Polk County his professionalism caught my attention. I live in Lee County and our Sheriff Carmine Marceno is equally awesome for all he has done in this county. I know TEAM = Together Each Accomplishes More. Keep sharing what works across the State. You guys got this now. I am a grateful citizen transplanted from NJ in 2004 full time, I am seeing it all.
The file case record is for criminal people from illigal Alian not for the people no need to fixed it...the setuation case of crime beacuse the cendicat mastermind of sacrifices of crime.

I can't wait to see what he does next, not only because he brings to light the awfulness that people do but does it in a way that there is no way it could offend. (speaking in terms of todays society). He puts it out there straight with photos and speech that we all regular people can understand. His job has no room for politics it has everything to do with law and order and protecting and serving. What did he say? 50 years been in law enforcement!! Did he start when he was 18?

He gets up at 3:30 am, answers emails for work, takes a nap, then gets up again at 4:30 am, does some more, then he officially starts his day in the OFFICE at 8:30 am. He goes to bed at 10:00 or 11:00 PM. He also can get calls in the middle of the night, according to Steve Lester, the Chief of Staff of the Sheriff’s team. Sheriff Judd has a wife, children and 13 grandchildren. He works ALL the time. What’s your problem foul mouth!? I guess poor jay has to get up,at 4 am to go fishing! Must be a tough job!
