    I have a Qnap TS-h886 and also a QNAP TR-004 4 Bay Desktop NAS Expansion Can I connect to this for extra storage and read it on Plex ?

      Yes, once you add the TR-004 to the NAS you can add it as a source into Plex.

    Can i plug a usb 3.1 drive in to the NAS with videos on it and stream them across to my tv??

      Yes, just make sure to add the "source" into whatever Media Server software you are using where the path of that source is the USB drive.
