I'm a young carp angler and just wanted to thank you for all you have done for me. I have watched you for years now and learnt how to fish in many aspects my current PB is a 16 pound carp and am looking forward to bigger and better fish. When I was 7 in 1972 my dad gave me very valuable fishing advice. Never ever leave your rod in and walk away. I can't believe how many anglers, mostly carp anglers are miles away from their rods still out in the lake

I’m so glad you pointed that out in the years to come. Wow carl, I must say i truly enjoy your videos and its is sad to see cal go, but please keep up the effort you please so many people when you upload I have been watching your videos since forever i guess, but carl you have grown and changed and inspired me to fish, i recently caught my PB a 10 pound carp, and i did that because of you carl. These fishing channels are so important, not only for established fishermen but also to get the younger generation off their IPads , computers, phones and away from TV to do something healthy, outdoors, mentally healthy, worthwhile and experience something that makes you feel relaxed, connected to nature and alive ie fishing 👍 excellent as always Carl 👍👍😁
