Great stuff! Next time in USA you have to try fishing for Buffalo (that uglier cousin of carp lol). We were blessed last week to land a 63.8lb monster which is a capture of a lifetime.

Sorry I took longer to watch this vid just had a match fishing and I caught 13lb of silver and carp most others caught 30 or 40lb and sadly I didn’t win money (would of been £40) but still enjoyed it and maybe one day we can do a match against each other and see who’s the best pole fisherman Alex vs Carl anyway nice to see a new vid and giant carp.Tight lines!

Carl enjoy watching your videos but please don't hold perch by there lip without supporting the body it's like someone picking a puppy up by the scruff of it's neck it doesn't hurt them but it just doesn't sit well.A good perch is the king of all fish and should be treated with great care. Brilliant video keep up the good work👍
if you have a chance will you ever try carp fishing in Croatia? There are several lakes where in 7days fishing 30lbs carp is average. there is allsow a lake with 75lbs common carp and many 40-50lbc carp, 60lbs miror carps, 80lbs carp on a lake not to far from me so i can tell you its true and i was there when they couth them, there are allsom on the same lake 180+lbs welsh catfish, 25+lbs pike and many more fish. If you are interestd lake name is Šumbar lake.
Have just watched this with my son who has dragged me into carp fishing and just wondering if it's OK to ask if that carp was just over 60lbs?

They don't need to be necessarily big but I wondered if you could recommend a very beginnerfriendly lake anywhere in France, where I could catch my first 10 or 20 pounder. I've watched A LOT of your videos and i've seen some of the same equipment used for years and in almost all of your videos. Just wanting to know on how often you buy new reels and rods or do you just use them for as long as they last :D? I've only fished for a couple of years myself now and im a guy who loves buying new rods & reels troughout the year when i can afford some (I only fish on lakes from the shore or a boat if there's one available for perch, zander and pike with all kinds of hard & softbaits but never these kinds of rigs so it's a lot different). Love these videos, thanks for making my weekend once again 💖

Great fish just a shame it wasn’t a common. The lake I fish (Etang la Fays) is close by. Good water in those parts. 🎣
I had simmilar problem like you i thought i had kidney stones after 3 years without a solution it turned out i have a genetic disease called Mediteranen fever. Hope you the best.

I've use a 10ft 3lb test curve Daiwa Crosscast with a Daiwa GS4000 reel fora long time! Decent and not too expensive :)

Well that is a big carp. But it looks a bit unhealthy for a carp to be that fat, to be honest. Are there any experts here that know more about this? Is carp obesity a problem? I usually try to be carefull to not overfeed the carp, because I prefer catching carp that are a few kilo's lighter, but are still healthy.
Don't get me wrong, I am really happy for you to crush your PB!

Careful about them kidney stones my dad thought he had them years ago turns out it was kidney cancer
Thanks Josh thankfully they've ruled out anything kidney related. Turns out it was stress all along causing the monthly pain. I resolved the issues that's been going on in the background and it has just disappeared. Apparently this is common especially when doctors have ruled everything else out.
Dont forget why you fish, the harder life hits, the better fishing gets, i dont think my fishing is a sport but more a feeling i cant get from anything else, serendipity
