In my humble opinion, I think that the resonators muffled the sound of the super 10s a lot, I have them on my suburban and they are broken in and sounds great, but, the straight pipe on this one is way better... straight pipe for the win !!!!!
Depending on your preference, imagine getting that super 10 and then hearing the straight pipe! I like noise so I would ask to get something similar to the straight pipe.
My fav exhaust set up is the flowmaster American thunder. It’s not too loud when cruising but revving and accelerating u can hear it. It’s aggressive but not too loud which is what I want.
Straight pipe guy will be back!!!! Drone will make his head implode like a submarine at 5,000 feet! And it sounds like loud noise - there's no tone, no "music," to it. Flowmaster was nice and deep, good tone.
I got a super 40 flow master on the trail boss 5.3 and I hate it not enough beast mode in it. So I am having my local shop cut it out and straight pipe. So my question is they say they want to keep the resonators on it. How much quieter is it gonna be with them not being deleted to being deleted?
Flowmaster on the silverado sounds smooth and straight pipes on the silverado sounds great 👍 i think it's best to keep the ram because it's just too sad to say goodbye to it if you know what i mean
Just wondering? What's the deal with the flickering headlights on the Grey truck? I don't care about either truck as far as looks. I like them both. As far as sound? The white wins for me. I'm old school I guess. I'm old. Like the loud sound of straight pipes or glass packs. You gas on it! The vehicle rumbles! The grey one? Beautiful truck too! Kind of quiet for me. As far as the dude talking about trading in his ram for a chevy/gmc? If you're happy with it? Why? Unless you have too much money to burn? Or and/or get bored too easy? I'd be thankful to have any of them!
Flickering light is just due to the way the camera picks up the image with the refresh rate per frame. LED bulbs pulse faster than the human eye can catch it. Kind of like your tv or phone screen does. If you look up The Slow Mo Guys they have an excellent video that shows the refresh rate and how this process works
I traded my Ram for a new GMC Sierra 1500. Worse mistake I have made in a long time. I traded the GMC in Jan and the dealership wholesaled it off their lot. They saw how many time it had been in the shop and all of the complaints I had. They didn’t want their name attached to it. I went back to Mopar.
@@883kodiak as an over all company, maybe GM is more reliable. But I have had multiple DODGE/RAM trucks since 1999. And other than a recall here and there, or the normal warranty issues, I have been very pleased. I went to Dodge for my first Mopar in 1999 when my Chevy Tahoe trans started going up. With less than 50K on it. I grew up in a GM only family. Several cousins worked for Chevy. It’s all I knew. All I know now is that I am pleased with my RAM.
Can someone tell me how I can do true duals myself like if there’s a kit online I can’t find or what the bends are I’m not looking to pay over a grand for a shop to do shit work I can weld and bend myself

The straight pipes sound so good, I love that sound. Almost reminded me of a 08 porsche cayenne turbo s v8 sound

If you get the Silverado, id suggest either the TrailBoss or RST with the 6.2L V8! The 5.3L is nice but MO POWER never hurt anyone‼️
I agree but the 5.3 is a very reliable engine and gets better millage. Not a crazy different in millage but if u drive correctly it can last forever
Bought my truck to tow an haul.. 5.3 does just find with plenty of power left over. Not racing my truck so dont need the 6.2l

I have a 2019 Silverado 5.3 with straight pipe exhaust. I’m so glad I didn’t get mufflers.
