So if you wanna skip dudes voice
Borla clip: 5:28
Flowmaster clip: 6:46
Muffler delete: 7:48
Thank you so much.
TJ is da real mvp
Is the Trailboss boss a 5.3 or 6.2?
If y’all weren’t skipping “the dudes voice” you would know what engine is in all three
Unless he's doing "HEMI HEMI HEMI" 😎😁
Muffler delete sounds pretty good on these newer trucks, The Borla Touring also sounded nice.
Muffler Delete kicked ass
The borla sounds the best of these 3. However I’m a magnaflow guy so I like the deeper tones not the loudest tones.
The deepness of the blue truck at around 6:30 was amazing.
Damn I was expecting the Borla to be the best but the muffler delete sounded damn good...especially if your on a budget..that flowmaster was terrible.
Anything over half throttle and that straight pipe sounds like complete garbage. Teenagers seem to love it tho.
@alphacapo not true sound best at full throttle. Anything else sounds like shit
That's trashy. Stop being a poor.
“I’m not going to say anything...I just did”
@Houston Izaiah you right no one gives a shit
I’m a Flowmaster fan and if the resonators had been deleted it would have sounded perfect!!
Always was a Flowmaster but then I tried Borla. Best decision.
The Borla on my 02 sounds amazing
That muffler Delete 🔥🔥🔥
I have the Flowmaster on my 5.3 with the baffles taken out and it sounds amazing especially when I'm down shifting or accelerating around 2000 RPM sounds so nice and tuned
Which flowmaster? I have the super 44 I think it is but putting my 40 series back on it. Can’t beat the 40 series with no cats or resonators
The silver silverado sounds the best to me. And it's a single.
Did anyone else see that they shoved the trucks antenna into the ceiling and it was bent like an “S”....
2:14
You ever notice how it doesn’t damage anything ?
No chg for damage lol
Did anyone ever notice how people make comments on RUclips about shit that doesn't matter?
@@sHuff16 damaged the antenna 😅
Quad tips looks awesome on these new GM trucks.Borla for the win!!!!
Great video, gonna go with muffler delete!
Love the borla!
Thanks soooo much for making this video
Love this channel.
Get some high flow pre cats for the Chevys
Personally I liked the borla the best. Great video will continue to watch.
Intake at end sounds good
I installed a borla s type on my 2021 Chevy Silverado rst 5.3 and it’s just a single exhaust and I’m loving it.
You don't think it is too loud? How does it compare to the touring model in this video?
I like the Flowmaster FX series. Not the chambered sound as it is a straight through design
The Borla is a winner. The flowmaster truck should have cut out those baffles.
Dangggg the borla sounds good might go with that!
@ Matthew Hand pal go for Corsa Touring Exhaust instead it sounds better !
@@thunderbolt5354 yeah but it’s expensive
Love you guys bro!!!!
I was loocking for this video hahaha thanks .I'm like 1 and 3 😁
I went with the muffler delete on my Trailboss and I don’t regret it one bit, plus only $60 at a local shop in my area
K bro
I got dual catback straight pipes on my 2018 Midnight edition...wouldnt have it any other way. My neighbors prob hate it but eh, not my problem lol
Gibson Performance stainless cat back on the 5.3 nice and deep no crackle
I work at a chevy dealer and that borla factory kit is not worth the money. the can is the size of my kitchen garbage can and delivers nothing more than a mellow tone .the 500 dollar rough country sounds better and delivers a small hp boost as well as fuel economy increase ( which is quite welcomed with the 6.2 liter engine.. ) i cant speak for the flowmaster kit or muffler delete ...great video ...
Muffler delete sounds good
Muffler delete for the win!
Those are some cool HDMI exhaust on the Chevy's.
🤣
They all sound good, but I like the Borla best. I'm surprised that the Flowmaster is louder than the muffler delete.
I have a 09 with a super 10 and I love it
40 BUCKS VS 400+ its a no brainer if you're on a budget. I received my $40, incl shipping, 7' piece of Walker 3" exhaust tubing Monday. My '16 Sierra is get'n some tunes...
Even though the borla is technically more quiet the throatyness of it makes it seem louder
I just got a 2016 silverado 1500 4x4 5.3. What would be a good option for me? Is a delete an option? I like that tone
Borla for the win.sounds nice
Those are really nice welds lol
I think they all sound good, but if I had to pick it would be the muffler delete and I’d love to hear the true dual with it!!
I like the muffler delete do u no if it throws the check engine light on I I were to put it on my 2019 5.3
@@vinnybaselice7684 I’m not sure about that? I would imagine if it does you can reset the sensor.
@@vinnybaselice7684 no codes on my 2014 5.3L. It’s been 6 months now.
@@vinnybaselice7684 Haven't had my check engine light on since muffler delete, and its been over a month
It won’t throw a CEL because you’re not messing with your 02 sensors. The factory muffler’s job is to simply eliminate or “muffle” any of that glorious V8 sound
Borla always makes nice stuff.
On 8/31/2023 I just had the Chevy Borla exhaust installed at my dealership and the left tips are not level (right hand tips are level) and straight like they should be. If I try to level the tips by turning the pipe, the right hand tip (on left side) hits the bumper. What did you do to tweak the pipe fitment? Did you adjust the 1st pipe joint past the muffler or did you need to actually bend hangers/pipes to fit correctly?
the decibel meter on the flowmaster was still registering 99.1 db while at idle. So that 99.9 was bs! They setup was quieter than the bolt on they got from the dealer... the borla, which didn’t even register anywhere near 99db.
So which one would you go with on your truck?
That silver one should've also deleted those bafles in the tailpipe, just cut of and weld a new pipe in its place as well
I just might compa 😜 lol
"suscribe" lmao fantastic
Went borla on my wifes 2016 tahoe. Perfect rumble but not obnoxious
Where did you purchase the bora muffler from?
@@jeffreyjuneau1959 amazon
I wanna hear just open headers... do that please!
When ya change the exhaust does the dash light come on?
Personally have the Borlas! They are really nice!
Any drone?
@@caymonmayes5763 not really, no!
I have 2019 silverado 5.3 does the muffler delete throw your check engine light on need to no before I get one
All 3 sounded good to me.
Automatic subtitles "Troll Balls" 😂
Try some karnage series 1 and see they sound killer
can you do a Rough Country cat back system on a gmc with a 6.2
I put a borla xr1 on my Tahoe it sounds much better than the borla touring and it's cheaper
The muffler delete truck with the single out the side doesn’t sound as good as when you delete the muffler and it splits to the duals out the back
How much to true dual 2020 silverado 1500 rst?
Muffler delete . So who won?
You only want to cut that flapper valve off if you disable the AFM or DFM, whichever your truck came with. That flapper valve works when your fuel management system is shutting down cylinders during stops, and light driving. Which as far as I'm concerned every Salesperson should be showing his customers how to do so, if anything, just to reduce your chances of having lifters sticking closed, which in turn can cause catastrophic engine failure, an issue the GM has been fully aware of since going all the way back to 2007. But before you say, then just buy a Ford, or a Ram, they've experienced that same issue with their electronic fuel management systems as well, since its the lifter companies design that's the issue. Over on Lonestar Hawaiian's channel he has a very thorough explanation of this problem, and the status of the class action lawsuit that is ongoing. But back to my original point, you should only cut the flapper valve off if you're disabling your electronic fuel management system.
So need a intake also. If not it's lame
Dang are y'all in Tennessee?!
Borla all day!!
Very good content but can you please get a microphone bc I had to turn my volume all the way up and still didn’t hear.
Straight Pipe All Of Those And You Hear A Major Major Major Difference
I still dont know which way to go on my 2018 Z 😭
Borla for the win!
Put a 50 series flowmaster and took out flap and resonators......you’ll love the sound
I have a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom, deleting the muffler won't void the warranty right? I would like to delete it without the resonators like the Grey Silverado, or add the Flow Master..your thoughts.
@@jeffreyjuneau1959 same. Did you get an answer?
Borla all day.
The muffler delete sounds amazing, but the drone is way too much
Delete sounds the best imo
If i wanted to get a Supper 44 Flowmaster..do you happen to know the part number..thanks
Theirs links in all of our videos for everything we install
The exhaust flutter with a muffler delete from those Chevy baffles sound horrible. Cut them out and dual it and I promise it will sound so much better
Question the pipe that goes across from left across is smashed does this create back pressure? And is this normal?
Inside the pipe is still the same size doesn't restrict it at all. It's just made that way for ground clearence.
tbh muffler delete sounds the best ...
Borla Exhausts are vehicle specific, I'm surprised that it didn't fit right. When you order them you put in your year make model of your vehicle.
Its annoying, it’s harder to make this generation loud with the traditional techniques… In my 13 I dumped a super 10 single in dual out, 3in all ends. It sounded really good and was loud. I have the same setup on my 21 rst 5.3 and it’s way, way quieter…
Would it be too loud without the muffler and resonators ?
I would like to know also..
Wtf the guy at 7:21 sounds just like Paul walker
Silver chevy gets my vote👍👍👍
I vote muffler delete
I literally need to drive there just so I can have done what I want cause none of the shops around here will do it I want the 3rd cat gone and pipe added to make it “true duals” but myns not a 19+ it’s a 2011
Mine is a Chevrolet 2021 Silverado 1500 Custom, will check around my area and see if they would delete my muffler and resonators, either put a flow master muffler or straight pipe like the Grey Silverado 1500.
I like the muffler delete instead….
Borla exhaust - $1000+
Muffler delete- $100
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
It's a $60k truck. You telling me $1,000 for a system approved by GM is too much?
I want to do this but how do you pass inspection with a muffler delete
Would like to know also too?
You ask the shop for the stock exhaust back when they are done. Smog inspection comes around, you have the stock exhaust put back on then removed after the successful smog.
@@anthonyblack7699Wow. That sounds convenient.
Borla💯
Stainless works is what I put on my truck
What exhaust did you go with? From the dealership?
@@jeffreyjuneau1959 i bought my exhaust from a company called stainless works. Sounds fantastic each exhaust pipe has its own muffler.

I have 2021 Chevrolet Silverado Custom 1500 with a 5.3 liter, I would like to see that too..

Is the factory muffler a 3” in and out or 2-1/2”?

Straight pipe boy
@@happycoltgaming9939 but it's throttle body. Doesn't it need some back pressure?
Flowmasters barely had any sounds. Definitely have to cut out those "resonators".. The borla sounded great. I have the same blue 2021 RST with the 5.3 been on the fence if I want something like the borla or go the cheap route and muffler delete.
Im the owner of the silver one, i wasn't sure at first but i decided to go the cheapest way and go from there. It actually pops alot when driving at lower speeds and let off the gas idk if you're a fan of that or not
@@taz94jja right on thanks man.. I have an 84 Silverado c10 with super loud popping exhaust (black widow) so I love that sound, but not sure if I want it for the daily too lol. The delete definitely sounds good though. Any drone in the cab?
@@DR_Bloom86 It's not that loud in the cab and not much drone. Unless you're hauling a heavy trailer in the interstate at higher speeds. These newer trucks have a quieter cabs.
@@taz94jja I have a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom, will It void my warranty if I choose to have the mufflers removed?
@@jeffreyjuneau1959 I believe that As long as you leave the headers and cats alone you're ok. You can remove the muffler or replace with a brand muffler or get a whole catback kit.
Anyone know if the muffler and flap delete void the warranty?
Good question there...
You guys are the Cancer of Quietness KINGS 👀
I just got a Muffler delete on my trail boss 21'... Jesus... it sounds great! But, want a true dual. What is it actually?
A true dual exhaust is when a pipe comes off of each header collector and goes straight back to the exit without joining together in any muffler or catalytic converters. They can each have their own muffler or cat but no joining together
Lol that's funny. Just like me. Don't know what it is but want it
Will that muffler delete void your warranty?
Can't believe they come 3 converters now..the whole exhaust system from dealer ship runs $1,899.00 with the Bora mufflers..didn't ask what it cost to have them installed, would like to know for my 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom.
Is the Trailboss Boss a 6.2 or 5.3??
Yes
5.3L
The Cancer of Quietness...Lol. How about The Shame of Silence!😎
