Maybe one thing to look at in the future is the year of the pint glass. The pint glasses say M16 or M19 or whatever on them and that is the year the glass was made so 2016 and 2019 for the codes I mentioned. Some say that a pint shouldn't be served in a glass more than 3 years old but I don't know how that would affect things.
@@demcadman I imagine in a pub a pint glass is going to go through a lot of wash cycles over 3 years so the glass will become "worn" in a sense but I'm not a glass expert.
Yep Thomas Mahers didnt serve women until the original owner died in 2001. They didn't even have a women's toilet in the place so they had to install one. He was stubborn as well, refused to serve Guinness because the reps were giving him hassle. Also you would have done well to swap Geoffs with Jordans. Jordans hands down best pint in Waterford city.

Tankard glasses have a wider diameter opening than a normal glass which makes beautiful domeage a near impossibility.. If anything it might result in the dreaded concaveage.. We'll have to consult a council of elders on the matter.

you should at least get a choice of your shades of color in beer emoji .. not everybody enjoys a clear yellow .. i've been into the stouts and IPAs lately and so are many many many others more Than to count .. people who used like to budweiser/alexander keith/coors in the 80s have even switched over

Never heard of that. In Munich, they have drinking clubs with glasses from the 20s and 30s they use.

Usually between €4-5 outside of Dublin. €5-6 in Dublin usually outside of Temple Bar which can be anything up to €8-9.

The reason Britain doesn't have many old style glasses is because we had to ditch the old British Standard. You can still find some in old pubs

An Uisce Beatha on the Quay in Waterford has a great pint. Pity the atmosphere is so quiet it’s uncomfortable outside Walshes.
There is also the distillery formerly a brewery and axe throwing after a pint or a few is not recommended
Powers’ Bar, Dunmore East, hands down best Guinness in Waterford.
