#pubs #realale #yorkpubs I'm in York ahead of a week's work on my day job after my week running the Big Six. On my day off, I head to some of my favourite York pubs.
I love the Golden Ball, I found it on a solo mini crawl some years ago. I seem to remember nice tiling around the bar? Anyway, great to see it still going - thanks for the video!
The Cosy Club was a furniture store called McDonalds, my mother still has the fold down table she bought in 82. Before that I believe it was a cinema, ABC maybe. Lived in and around York since 77. You went to few pubs I have never been to and will happily get a drink in them. Thanks for the vid.
My walk into town from my house includes Walmgate and Fossgate. On the outside of the Walmgate bar there's a great little pub called The Rook & Gaskell. Some good choices in there. BTW has anyone ever said you resemble Neil Young? 😊

I too have the same problem on a drinking expedition to York....can only drink pints and too many pubs to try! Some hidden gems there!

You missed a cracking little local pub. The Slip Inn just around the corner from The Swan.
I called at the Slip Inn after filming. What a great little pub!
