The manual states the code has to be 4 to 8 digits and you only put one in!?! I have this safe and can't reprogram the keypad. This thing had great reviews on Amazon and now the page doesn't exist anymore. This piece of crap is going back immediately!!! - UPDATE - after 10 minutes of doing the exact same reprogram exercise, it decided to work. UNBELIEVABLE!!!
I saw a review on Amazon where you can shake the box and the latch will open? Have you tried doing that? I'm hoping that the persons safe was just defective. That would be a big issue.
Just came across a news article about a 6 year old who was able to open up a safe, made by this exact company and brought the gun that was in it to school. Thank god nobody was hurt but the child is expelled from the school following the incident. Personally, I would not trust a Chinese company like this one to keep families and others safe, as I'd imagine there would be little to no oversight in safety and quality for their products. They don't disclose that they're a Chinese company outright but the broken English throughout their website and their product descriptions is a dead giveaway.
Their safe light and reprogram key doesn't work at all!! Neither does the default code!! Customer Service answered once and never returned an email ever again and i sent in video of what it was doing and proof of purchase. Do Not Ever Buy!! You will be lucky if it works and if anything is wrong they will not help or withhold their warranty.
My safe won’t set. You set the finger print and then when you go to set the code it doesn’t work. And it erases the finger print

Just ran and tried when I saw this. Didn't open. Dropped from waist height. Didn't open. Yea that would be a problem I would return if that opened it.
