dude i despise how they removed the old layout completely, i just changed to it to see what the fuss was about but immediately regretted it. they should've slowly started updating the old layout by adding 1 feature from the new layout at a time if they wanted us to "get used to it" 😭
We chose discord because we thought it had the best layout/design quality and we despised the bottom menu grouped together and seperate dms. Wth would I still use it for now? I find myself not responding to people anymore until i grt home and can launch it on pc
the worst single UI change I have EVER seen horribly ugly, confusing when it previously worked perfectly intuitively now I have to click four to five times to find a message, still can't find them easily you gotta hand it to Mid-Tier corporate middle-managers, they always, ALWAYS know how to make something ugly, stupid, useless, and confusing when it previously worked just fine
They changed the swipe left to reply... Swiping to see who's online was so helpful and now they changed it to replying, but you can literally still reply by holding on a message. So they changed it for nothing. Old DMs were better, the friends up the top looks messy, everything about this is just messy and cluttered. The old layout was perfectly fine and no one complained about it. Now they removed it entirely and forced everyone to this one option. Watch them bring the old layout back but as a nitro feature, such trash.
I'm lucky for not updating Discord on my mobile,I'm feeling disgusted after seeing this ugly new design & I hope the Discord devs will change it to the classic. Thank you for the explanation.

I connected my phone to wifi for a MINUTE. And of course the stupid thing has to update within that one minute
