Its like you took a kv1e and glued two 45mm cannons next to the existing one, put a box instead of the turret and made it unable to aim more than 10-20 degrees horizontaly, so yes its unique but also quite weird
Its a genuine shame Gaijin is more obsessed with adding more copy and past shit when there is a prototype stabilized and autoloaded version, a full modernization program that finished in 2010 that includes active protection, and a twin 30mm version.
The things i'd do to see the absolutely insane volume of french test beds for assorted IFVs and light tanks, so many unique and fun tanks. They could turn france into a nation bigger than germany but noooooooooo lets give us 3 new leos and tell the french players to go touch themselves in the corner for another 2 years because *statistics* say its doing fine as a nation.
Copy pasta is cheap, while this would require more work and money... So here's 3 leopards and be happy lol I would rather get less vehicles, but at least they would be unique

It’s crazy because the French vehicles that don’t need the stabilizers that bad are the ones that have the stabilizers like the Mephisto cause you can’t even shoot on the move in the Mephisto 😂
@@gustiwidyanta5492 The penetration and damage are solid, I just wish they handled a little bit better + the overpressure was more consistent. They're so fat they make TOWs look manageable, and the overpressure is the most random thing ever - even soviet 125mm HEAT with much less HE filler overpressures much more reliably than the HOT-2 with 4.9 kg of HE in it, which is silly to me. I've hit so many BMPs and not overpressured them but you can kill a T80 at the front of the turret with it fairly reliably.
@@Northern00 easy, the HE filler is only a small part of the equation, shell and dmg type takes the bigger chunk all ATGMs in the game that can punch more than 200mm of armor uses HEAT warhead which doesnt benefit a whole lot from OP, whereas HE shells or HE warhead ATGM (only the khrizantema-s and shturm-s have them lmao) can OP alot more reliably why does HEAT not OP as often as HE ? gaijin not playing their own game and game mechanics + shoddy ass coding as usual
Would love if they added the stabilized french gunsight that holds fire after the trigger is pushed until the gun lines up with the shot. Wouldnt be a true stabilized gun, but would add a faux stabilization.
AMX-10RC enjoyer here. I always thought, while looking at it (both irl and game) that i couldn't ever EVER like it or doing well, not when Rooikat, Type 16 and Centauro were around (and i used them a lot...as Italian i had also some bias toward my own nation wheeled bois than the French one). Then, i bought on sale the AMX Super, grinded out low to early mid tier by spading most tanks and grab the RC; insta-regret in terms of SLs, but i remembered the suspension thing and the skid-loader steering (which make it turns in place, like a tracked AFV). Even with HEAT, even stock, it hecked so many targets that in a bunch of games i had the APFSDS, and at that br is quite a solid round (fall shorts behind 105mm DM23 yet...pack a punch). I'm currently away from WT, yet the RC holds an almost 4 K/D ratio, while the previous mentioned Wheeled are at best at 3 (mostly 2...). I would've recognize earlier the abilities of this machine, once mastered it's quite fun and productive (it helped me more than the Super to grind out most vehicles...).
Pro-Tip: The letter "H" in Spanish language is non-spoken so it's should basically be spoken wordlessly. It means that reading the quote "HASTA LA VISTA BABY" is basically "ASTA LA VISTA BABY" without "H". "H" is like gun stabilizer in French vehicles. It just doesn't exist... Please like this comment so that Master Betty could improve his multi language skills!!! 👍👍👍

Totally agree. Let the players decide what they want to play. There are a lot of us who want to enjoy the game without CAS ruining it. I mean there is no infantry, so not like it's super realistic. Come on Gaijin, let the people have some fun 😂
It must still be my most played vehicle, i unlocked every french thinks appart from leclercs with this thing. Also got a nuke while at the C point on poland map, thermal + laser range finder and direct sight on a spawn almost felt like cheating, it was as stupid as putting an mbt in 5.3. Its just the perfect sniper.
Love the 10RC. The French tree is actually one of the best in the game in my onion with it's 5.0 - 9.3 vehicles. A lot of unique vehicles you can't get in any other tree and insane autoloaders. Stabilizer, or lack there of, is a massive downside but in game it doesn't tend to matter all that much and the lower tier vehicles are a bit shit but other than that, great tree
The thing is: this vehicle should have been mostly stabilized, since it has Citröen's hydropneumatic active suspension that is supposed to make the vehicle stable at most terrains.
French are seriously cooking with there vehicles but they always forget those two ingridents: - armor - stabilizer but if you will "eat" few times what they cooked, you will tell it's pretty good
I am a crew member of the AMX 10 RC, and this vehicle is not designed for combat like a main battle tank (MBT) but rather as a tank destroyer. It is typically used to take positions, fire, and quickly withdraw. This is also why it doesn’t have a stabilizer.
also a dream to go from being reamed by t55am to actually having an edge in thermals and being able to pen them back as easily as they can pen you. still prefer lorraine 40t cos its just perfect but this is a neat machine too.
What if when you get a new crew member, depending on the BR, there was an animation of a person either parachuting (7.7) down to your tank.... that would be NEEEEEAAAATTTT
Its a hydropneumatic suspension.....The AMX 10RC is not a front line fighter. Its a secondary or Tertiary fighter and its primary role is to Scout targets followed by supporting the tanks. its the reason why it has no stabilization. If it had stabilization, that vehicle would be broke and people would complain about it alot.
Wish they would add the stabilized AMX-10 RC variants with the TML 105 (Late) and T40 turrets, also the APC (AMX-10 RTT) and SPAA (AMX-10 RAA) ones too

yes because gaijin nerfed the Mephisto as there is absolutely no reason to why it can't shoot while moving
If I remember correctly you can put it on battle cruise control and that allows you to shoot on the move. Although you are moving at like 2kph
The Mephisto is still pretty good though, HOT-2s slap and its decently mobile.

Still 7.7-8.7 france is my most favourite to play. For some reason it's just so good even without stab. Especiall brenus, that thnig is just awesome
