As someone who can't afford a good graphics card and is forced to play always like this (except resolution and antialiasing), I'm honoured to have you experience and to showcase this realm of flat surfaces and pixelates textures to the masses. i was playing the tager at 8.0 yesterday during the 8th star for the event and ive actually got a good way into spading it, its map dependant of course with those missiles you cant get too close or theyll just machine gun you to death but the fact its got scouting makes it that much more playable for me

I agree with your assessment: playing on custom settings with most things low except anti-aliasing and resolution was an advantage, but when playing at low resolution it's hard to spot enemies at a distance.
This thing is pretty good because there aren't many things that carry missiles at this BR, so nobody react to the sound of missile flying towards them. And also that dolphin sfx is a plus 👌

I'm sure everyone in their grind must have gotten some unusual layout, either the ELC I told you which I brought to 6.7 or someone bringing the BT-7 F-32 until 5.3 before they get the PT-76B(or maybe keep doing it despite that!), so just choose community suggested lineups that they used or are using so you can both help them develop new strategies and also have some laughs as you improvise with what other people do. I think this would be very nice way of offering help to others, especially learning players, since you can show them hands on what someone more experienced could do. I feel you're not so skilled it looks easy but actually hard to do, but also skilled enough you can give solid advice and experience. Thank you for your videos and good luck with your ventures!!! edit: it'd be disrespectful to not speak of the video, so, when I first started WT I ran everything on ultra low quality, so much so that to this day I don't run things with max graphics despite having a 3050 on my laptop amongst other goodies. i play with everything on the lowest settings plus using the legacy graphics drivers at 720p, it gives me stable (sometimes) 30fps, it´s quite alright when you get used to it actually. i love that i can still run the game after all these years, especially since other games that get regular updates have a habit of running worse and worse with every update (looking at you CS:GO or CS2 as they call you nowadays)

I started War Thunder with my school laptop in lowest possible settings in 720P, 20FPS and now i have a RTX 4070 Super, max settings, 1440p and 140FPS 👍🏻
I play on absolute min graphics (also with mode for old graphiccards) but with edge smoothing and max resolution and get about 10 - 22 fps (hate netherlands map for the fps problems i get)
With the newest Update the Advantage Gap between Low Settings and High Settings are much worser...so worser means you get more benefits with low settings. GJ Gajin
You always make ground battles seem fun but when me the noob tries to play ground for once i just wanna sit in a corner and cry and then return to my birdies xD
you can still go lower, there's an option "old videocard support" that gives you even lower possible settings (and doesn't let you to set others higher than "medium")
I play on the highest quality settings but with Heat Haze and Lens Flare turned off as they are meant to mimic viewing through a camera instead of the human eye, and I use HQAA instead of TAA as TAA makes the image blurry without doing any better anti-aliasing than HQAA does. I get about 120fps on 2560x1440 resolution with those settings on a 9900K OC'ed to 5GHz all cores, 32Gb RAM, and 3080Ti (all water cooled on a custom loop). I like my games to look GOOD when I actually get a chance to play.

SSAA is probably the best anti-aliasing available outside of AI anti-aliasing like DLSS. It works wonders at lower resolutions like 1080p, not so much at 4k. And when you play at 4k, the game is actually rendering at 4x that, so 16k. Thats why it kills your FPS with minimal gain.
Hi Dollarplays, i have an idea How about combining everything with everything in the next video. You start with low graphics and all the settings, and you can turn them on when you kill someone (only land vehicles). If you die, you get a setting back AND you have to go with the vehicle that shot you. WITH THE SAME VEHICLE! Not one rank above or below. If a plane kills you, of course it doesn't matter in the sense that you don't have to go with it in the next round :D But you have to take the graphics setting back by one. One more idea just to make it more complicated. If you are killed by a land vehicle, you must go with the next vehicle on the development branch of that vehicle, if you are killed by an aircraft, you must go with a lower land vehicle that is on the same development branch as the one you just died with.
SSAA is really great for screenshot in Air Realistic where there are more simplistic shapes and straight line bc most of the time all you see is your plane against a background. SSAA really helps clean up aliasing in a massive way. It is bad for actual gameplay tho even with my 7900XTX
@DOLLARplays I had to stop playing WT as the upgrades unables my laptop to play. I had on the minimum 11-12 frames in air, on ground i had 8FPS... Beat that, still love the game.
Here is a wicked curveball: You can play on a low-end PC with the highest Setting, via Nvidia's GForce NOW (provided you have a decent Internet Connection). Works great, but at least on my 1080p Monitor, vehicles in the far distance are a tad blurry, due to the streaming video quality, I guess? Perhaps it works better in 4k... 🤷♂️ 😅

Ah, my old War Thunder gameplay back when I had a potato PC that ran this game at 20 fps. Memories… XD

It's impressive how well you've mastered this game.
SSAA is really great for screenshot in Air Realistic where there are more simplistic shapes and straight line bc most of the time all you see is your plane against a background. SSAA really helps clean up aliasing in a massive way. It is bad for actual gameplay tho even with my 7900XTX
I was playing WT in ultralow graphics on my old laptop for 4 years. Now I have good PC and play with ultrahigh... Yeah, that's a massive difference
@DOLLARplays I had to stop playing WT as the upgrades unables my laptop to play. I had on the minimum 11-12 frames in air, on ground i had 8FPS... Beat that, still love the game.
Here is a wicked curveball: You can play on a low-end PC with the highest Setting, via Nvidia's GForce NOW (provided you have a decent Internet Connection). Works great, but at least on my 1080p Monitor, vehicles in the far distance are a tad blurry, due to the streaming video quality, I guess? Perhaps it works better in 4k... 🤷♂️ 😅
