I'm glad you all are starting to do these because I just got an MPC one 3 weeks ago and I'm thinking about retiring my MK3! As a long time user of maschine I'm upset that it took you all this long to create something like this, relying on others to create your non approved tutorials is absurd. It's like finally!!!! Because just in my short time with Akai, they are killing it with their online presence regarding how to use their equipment. I notice that the NI stance with maschine in the past was more about discovering what it could do through exploration. Probably not the best way to move units. I hated the tru-torials!!!! I really do hope this is a sign of things to come!!!! One last thing. Why does it take so long in between episodes? I forgot I watched part two what feels like 3 months ago!

I've found a great use for the swing inversion. Say I make a funky house groove with 40% swing on a group but the high hats are swinging a lil too much for my taste. I can just add swing to the high hat sound and invert it using the same amount or less then the group swing. The closer I get to say 40%, that makes it sound normal because the inversion of the swing on the sound, negates the swing on the group.

Everything is almost perfect with the maschine. I just wish we can layer drums with offset as well. I would like to delay certain samples or trigger them faster or later than another layered sound under it instead of all the sounds triggering at once which can cause phase issues. That’s one thing I love about the MPC. It’s called “offset”. Also can we get a flip phase/polarity option on one of the sampler tabs? Things can get really thin when layering if we can’t invert the polarity of the phase.

These video series are very good. I picked a Maschine Mk3 second hand before I found this series and theyhelped out a lot. There are endless posibilites with this device. I decided to go the NI route after a few years debating which vendor to pick, if I should go with NI or multiple vendors and this BF I chose NI got KK Ultimate, the keyboard (s88 mk2) and maschine. As a complete beginner I really like how it ties together with the software and how easy it is to just mess around and just make stuff for the fun of it.The only downside is that neither KK,Kontakt,Maschine both the software and controller run natively on Linux. They should have this OS in mind as well. Overalll good products but there's always room for improvement.

That groove feature needs a commit or apply function to print the swing onto the midi so you can apply different swing settings for different sounds and groups.

🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 ??? En tout cas… 👏 👏 👏 👏

Hey Boris, these videos are amazing thank you. There is one thing that I cannot find for the life of me and I really really need it to make this bit of kit perfect for me live. How do I split my keyboard so the left side of the keys plays one sound and the right side plays another? Thanks

Thanks for this very clear video ! Use my microphone directly into the Maschine Plus workflow and its dope. Nonetheless i have a frustration. When I record a pattern, it is possible that I write too many notes and start and 5th measure. How can I erase ON THE FLY only the notes after the 4th measure to be sure to stay in 4/4 ?

Hey, thanks for the tutorials Boris and NI, maybe in the future you can make videos explaining how to use the effects on komplete and what is each one for? Reading the manual helps to understand but something like these videos help me much more, I have the k13 collector´s and I want to upgrade but I feel that there are many powerful tools but I only know what´s a limiter and a compressor but I don´t know how to use the mod pack, the crush pack or the mouth (and maybe I´m not the only one), big thanks.

is there a way to set up individual effects for two inputs through an audio interface? Like live guitar and live vocals fx processing for concerts or live streams?

I love your vids and 1 thing I have not seen you cover is how to get expansion images to show up again if you transfer computers. It looks like I have to re-download all the expansions again for a simple .png not showing up as the cover art. NI has nothing on their site that works for this.

Please give us the option to only use the time shift OR the velocity range in the humanize function!!! You can easily get some amazing velocity grooves with note repeat by pressing harder or softer on pad but when you then want to humanize the performance even more by moving the notes a bit off the grid, you can't because the velocity randomization will ruin your groove you made with note repeat. That shouldn't be that hard to implement and would make the humanize function soooo much better in my opinion!!

I’ve had a question for a long time that bothers me a lot! Is it possible to be able to play at the same time independently on the Maschine MK3 and on the komplet Kontrol S2 Mk2, while being in Maschine2 software?? otherwise it is possible that the KOMPLET kontrol sofware opened with the KOMPLET Kontrol keyboards tiut by recording on Maschine2 and be able to play independently both with different VST at the same time???.
in both context! I like to work on Maschine2 software.
I know it’s possible on LogicproX… but I would great to be able to do that with maschine2 sofware thanks
