I AGREE! I’ve been blocked for asking questions as simple as what instrument is that? Btw I really like what you can do with this machine here, thinking of picking one up
The key player should be the main part of the show. Not some talentless dude pressing buttons. I'm sure the key player can arrange just as well.. this is LOL!!!!........
@@eleanorzissou He did play some chords lol. He just had a homie come in and lay down some other chords for him. I can make my own chords - but there's something that makes it even more fun to work with a chord progression or sample a friend has made for you. Almost like a mini collab.
As a native instrument user it’s by far the best piece of equipment I’ve ever bought. I luv my MK3 I got close to selling it because I fell on hard times but couldn’t see myself separating from it, if I don’t have anything else I have MUSIC!!! Maschine Gang for LIFE!!! 🔥😎🤙🏾

Loved watching this whole process, this was a great combo of relaxing & informative! That lead at 14:48 was something else. Sounding perfect for a West Coast beat or an RnB track with that West Coast vibe. I'm picturing someone like Ty Dolla on this one 🔥
Amazing producer, impeccable ear, shoutout to the guy who did those dark chords. Great mini series. Definitely next on my wishlist for gear. Makes you want to get creative doesn't it?
@@NativeInstruments one underrated point is that without computer, the potential distractions are far less, increasing the already powerful maschine workflow
I really wish there was a spotlight sample collection or something for instruments from countries on the Mekong river like Thailand Cambodia and Vietnam they sound great!
I feel heavily disrespected by NI. I thought "surely, they wouldn't release a standalone groovebox that can't handle polyrhythms or polymeter, right?" and then you did. And it's been about a year or two since the product launched, and this issue still hasn't been fixed. Tell me how I'm supposed to play a set with Maschine+ that requires immediate tempo shifts or has a few bars in an odd time signature without getting an external midi clock or ableton link enabled device hooked up as the master? Stop disrespecting your userbase with these bunk ass advertisements disguised as tutorials! I don't want to see another NI ad until you guys have added: Pattern chaining, assigning time signatures on the pattern/scene level, an adaptive grid in the arrange view that accommodates time and tempo changes, sample latching/SP-404 style pad holds, the ability to name lock states and automate lock-state changes, and redone pattern system that allows you to change the beat/grid resolution and pattern length on a per-sound basis, plus step probability. Adding all of that would make Maschine+ worth $1500.
I code a bit and have always played around with music production as well. Studio One reminds me of Visual Studio Code with how flexible and extensible it is, and how it seemingly took over the industry overnight.
"its almost completely unorthodox to what is typical music of today but thats what gives it longevity. when you push play and you listen to it and it sounds interesting to the fact of nothing else that sounds the same"
Your messing over Native Instruments and me. I never sold anything to anyone and I have yet to be paid. My lawyer is Hudspeth and Hudspeth Phoenix Arizona get yo shit right!
This video of him on the maschine is like a video of a kids first steps. I mean, cool, but not really impressive in the grand scheme of things. So basic.
Robert Moog’s surname was originally pronounced Moog but at some point he decided to change the pronunciation to Moog. Personally I prefer to pronounce it Moog rather than Moog. Potato, potato - tomato, tomato. P E A C E : )
Great vid, really loved the down-to-earth way he goes through his process. Must admit I will never understand the mentality of spending all that time fine tuning and fading the chords at the beginning to make them sound like they are the correct length when there is $5k of Moog One sitting just behind you with the sound loaded into it, and you are a pianist. Just play the damn sequence again how you want it! Or better yet record the midi data when your session guy is in so you can manipulate that and chop it about. On the other hand, I don't have any Grammies so whatever he is doing it is working for him! 😁

I've been watching at least 2 videos a day from somebody for 10yrs. Imma bad dude but I'm still a fan of the art
Just taught me how to use my MK3 in 1 short video. 🫡

When you start humming, singing, and speaking jibberish...you know you have a hit!!!
Some of you might not know, but this man is one of the main producers that made the entirety of Kiss Land. And the production of the album is top tier.
kawhi leonard making that 🔥🔥🔥
He does look like "The Claw" Leonard though🤔
🤣🤣🤣
I can hear the kawhi laugh when I read this 🤣
Man, you ruined this for me. I didn’t see it at first but now I can’t unsee it lol 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Super!!!! Dope!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🚀🚀
"i got my mans over here to play the synth for me" how crazy is that. your own sample machine
😂 I need to get me one
He needs a masterclass. I will pay for it. This is a great producer who has worked on his craft for years.
This to me was a mini Masterclass lol
@@RyNeaSoulMusic I know right. I love his personality and I would definitely pay for a full masterclass for production from him.
A masterclass is usually done by people who mastered the craft. He can‘t even play a few keyboard chords.

I was trying to figure out what that led was. So I could find it and play with it.
Could have time stretched it if he was just going to keep it as it was.
The best demonstration of workflow I've seen on this thing yet. We'll done ✔️
not the scarface intro chords
That's how u use a session musician
Please, no more Soulful R&B Bangers. We’ve all had quite enough shopping mall music.

IDK. He could of done all that in chord mode without needing a real keyboardist and had much more control of the samples.
I'm thinking he had access to an authentic Moog, so why not sample it in the studio. Also gets the player a piece of the pie, in my opinion
