NI Maschine Plus - How To Make Your First Beat
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 4 авг 2024
- A tutorial about how to make your first beat using Native Instruments Maschine Plus or the MK3. This is a great beginners guide covering all the basics from setting it up to what button does which function. It can be a bit over whelming at times but at least someone will guide you thru this process. I'll have more tutorials in the future talking about other techniques.

All the time stamps are built into the video... Have a great day!
this or the akai force?
@@lebronsinclair8012 this
@@lebronsinclair8012 it depends on you. The Akai Force is $1000 & the Maschine+ Is $1400.
@@AveMcree after watching your livestream with the micro freak. Ummmm yeah I went with the maschine plus. Kaytranada is one of my favorite producers as well I just couldn't deny using what he using to just try and catch the essence lol. And goodness the first and third beat you made....goodness. I hope to even come close to that one day. Keep the tutorials coming. I appreciate it!
Do you know how to convert a stereo sample to mono from Maschine plus hardware?
I can't believe it! Someone actually made a Beginner video that's actually FOR Beginners. THANK YOU!!
This is the first video on the topic, where You show which buttons do what, and why! Cudos to You, Ave!
This will, for this beginner, be my source of info for awhile. Thanks
Best tutorial for Maschine Plus. Super easy to follow and you explain everything in simple terms. Brilliant
Appreciate your work and honesty Ave, get this man to 100k subs. I feel like your literally the only person they didn't give the + to that gave us an unbiased review.
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this. I’ve never used NI workflow before but thought I could handle it. Got it today and spent 4 hours on it and spent most of the time regretting my choice! I really appreciate this bro.
Best beginner video ever
Great tutorial. Finally took my Maschine plus on the road and needed this!
Best video I’ve seen for starters.
Very well explained and displayed.
Excellent job!
thank you!
Agree it's a very useful video. First Sampler / Drum Machine and still new to DAW's too. Hope to use it for life event's one day.
I had to come back to this video.again and again... perfect, easy to follow..Thanx Ave...
I just got my Maschine+ and thanks for the video, you nice wit it. I gotta watch this video like 50 more times and I got it lol, gratitude.
Very useful info for a newbie Maschinist.
Thank you for sharing.
I will definitely check out your other stuff.
May the groove be with you...
𝄆👍👏👍👏𝄇
...always.
excellent and with time stamps! A true teacher
This was really great for getting me started, thanks! I was hoping that there would've been a second part to also explain scenes, banks and song construction as thinking of music as a timeline is the natural next step. But after this video I'm already very relieved to find the workflow on this to be very natural and intuitive, so I'm glad I trusted what I'd read about that online! Before actually having the device, videos seemed quite overwhelming and I feared that this might take a long time to learn, but turns out that you actually get to the fun very effortlessly.
Extremely helpful video thanks
Great video! Thank you! 👍🏾👍🏾
Keep up the good work, Ave
Appreciate ya bruh and keep up the great work🎉
Thank you for this video man it cleared my doubts so fkn amazing
Good stuff sir. Thanks for sharing these steps. Super helpful as a new Maschine user myself 👊🏼™️
that's great to hear
thankkkk you sooooo much im a total newcommer this video helped me tremendously and im only 3 mins in lol ive updated my sytem and and finally found where all my expansion packs when that need to be installed thank you
Finally a tutorial that helps
Great live session today bro!🙌💯
Sweet! I look forward to being totally confused when I get a Maschine. Heh. Seriously, terrific explanation and I'll def bookmark this video for later reference. Thanks.
This video tutorial, save me. Thanks man!
I thank you for this. I am totally new to anything Native Instruments. I got it for the processing power for samples but Its so much more
my pleasure I got you
Thank you very much for explaining that. I appreciate the patience of explaining exactly what you’re doing. I’ve been having issues learning the Machine plus. I would love for you to explain how I could use the loops exclusively and make a song out of them.
Very helpful!! thank you
I actually bought the machine + by mistake thinking it was the mk3. I immediately thought to send it back but after seeing this tut, I mind as well invest some good money into my first beat pad.
That beat 🔥🔥🔥👌🏾
Good stuff as always Ave. Wouldn't mind seeing a video with you using drumsynth and bass synth
I'll put that on the agenda
worked for me. thx :)
Thank you!!!
Thank you because I am having a hard time working my native machine, Plus.
Great video Ave. I just wanted to point out that you are NOT limited to only 8 groups. Maschine has UNLIMITED groups. It all depends on how much cpu power you have.
Yoooo, thanks for this video! Just got my + today and this video helped. A few questions though, how is someone supposed to record 8 separate channel tracks if you want to record it in protools? Can we back all the library we downloaded to a pc so that way we can exchange back and forth? Lastly, can people make their own libraries and give them out to sell or share OR do we have to always purchase them from native instruments? Any info helps
Thanks!
I couldn't set my bars until I seen this. Thank you
Peace, great video. Can you replace sounds in a group from another kit?
Excellent presentation, I’ve just started in the world of stand alone is it possible to connect an external instrument and bounce it to audio?
Thanks!
Great video.. Im using the MPC ONE and this video is still great for learning all the language of the new standalone machines. Thank you .
Ave I’ve noticed that the Maschine Plus has routing settings in the settings. You mind making a vid explaining ways to use the routing settings by any means?
I have one on the way here right now. Can't wait. Lol
Thanks you so much.
my pleasure
Thank you for your video. How do you sync maschine plus with a computer daw so that when you hit play, they both start at the same time.
it's compact and not a laptop. I'm in love.
Great tutorial, how do you capture such full sound on RUclips? Most videos don't have the full, deep bass
Hey mate thanks for the video. Do you know how to change the time signatures from 4/4 to 12/8?
Just got my Maschine+ today. Was struggling to get going until I found your video. Great video btw. I followed along ok, but when recording a track, it didn't loop around after the 4th bar. I set the pattern size to 4. Did I miss something?
Can each group serve as a midi channel using it to sync with a sp404sx?
Is there a way to connect a midi piano keyboard (like the xkey air) thru Bluetooth?
🤙🏿excellent
so how much are the downloaded material and i have slow internet how long did it take urs to download
I was waiting on this vid I have a maschine mk3 and theres a lot I don’t know about it
Well thanks for your patience
does this read mp3s or is converting to wav required.
When I load a group, it comes preloaded with a song/pattern (even though I have the pattern+ button unchecked).
How do I just load a blank pattern to start my own beat? I’m sure it’s simple and I’m missing it, but I can’t figure it out.
Are you going to make more of these for the maschine +? Not alot of people are making content on these
Could you please do an Akai Force beginner video. I just bought it and I'm having a lot of trouble finding videos that really explain how to make a track from my own samples
search nicethings on youtube. He's got a lot tutorials on his channel. Not sure if there is one covering sampling.
+1 please make more force videos. No hate but I find it hard to listen to nicethings YT videos
@@MarcusFenixGears Yeah I could see that.
I got you
Can I transfer my previous sound expansions unto the maschine plus and can I back up my files on an external hard drive
I really need your help big bro I just got the #MachinePlus & I cannot make a beatz Because the temple Count in is too long. Do you how to fix that?
Yes you can change sample rate - I do it all the time for the lofi feel instead of using the lofi effect. Just change the sample rate and bit rate.
How do I load my own drums and samples (from Splice for example)? I have my drums and samples on an SD but Maschine+ but it doesn't show up when i search for the sounds. Can anyone help please?
I read somewhere that you need to tag your samples via the Maschine software first.
Anyone knows if it's possible to put Studio drummer into the Maschine +?
Can this sample/record in 24bit or convert to 24bit? Can it sample rate be reduced to 12bit?
10:04 how do you selct the whole row too move it ?
Loved this video! Would love to learn how to arrange songs and use clips a little better. Also I’m having some trouble with the loops in expansions, they are recording onto my beats without me even hitting record, I have a feeling it has something to do with sampling, also those loops when I try to record it only records very little of say a drum pattern loop. Please any help would be much appreciated!!!
that video is coming
i really want to get into this but cant decide whether i want the maschine + or the MPC One +.... so hard to decide
Thanks Man, had so many AHHHHH moments watching this - total noob to the Maschine workflow.
Can this video be applied to users with a maschine mk3 or no?
Yes I think it can because it’s the same maschine firmware for the mk3 and the +
everything except the settings at the beginning of the video
@ave mcree this or the akai force?
both
@@alexmax9832 I wish lol
yo Ave, can it use with DAW? Or cannot because it is use for stand alone purposes?
Yes you can use with a DAW too for sure. There is a cable that comes with it that allows you to plug right in your computer. You can use the maschine software or any daw. Typically people like to use maschine as a plugin within their DAW which allows you to kinda get best of both worlds in keeping the simplicity of the maschine workflow while also having the flexibility working in a true daw provides
@@nickgilday8946 alright, thank you! 😎
This machine is a dandy from how it looked in this video. This look like a plug n play in any program you use it with. Certified Dandy
Can you make a "How to make your first beat" on the Akai Force video?
sure
@@AveMcree Thanks. How are you liking the Maschine +?
I don't have no Signal When I am sample sounds What am I doing wrong
💪🏾👊🏾💪🏾
Installing content from ni 2 plus
Time stretching sample slices
👍🏾
thanks my brother
🥁
🤜🏿💥🤛🏿
Is it weird that I love the smell plus out of the box
Of course not
hes so funny :)
Is this thing worth dropping $1400 on?
that's solely up to you... Recommending gear is a double edge sword because I might enjoy it & you probably won't.
You think it's possible to take the RAM out of it and upgrade it to 8gb RAM stick?
no
no problem with cpu and ram ;-)
You can't upgrade the ram but you can upgrade the SD card which helps performance quite a bit as well as increases internal storage. You can also connect a thumb drive for storage too. Ive had it for a few months and have had no issues with the CPU even when using several samples or duplicating full songs while sampling etc. I'm not a heavy synth user, but I do like to get some good effects chains going. Even when the CPU goes pretty high, I don't notice anything in the actual performance of the unit itself. It can get up to like 80 percent CPU before you start noticing anything, which I only hit when I was really tryna push the limits.
Good video but next time have more light
your camera's not in focus or something...I can't read the screen on the Maschine clearly which makes a tutorial hard to follow.
you're the only person who's bitching about that out of the 1000's of people not....
Ave is not like the other plus producers no butter up here.
Dog!!!!!! People ALWAYS SKIP STEPS!!!!!! My G... How do you get to systems???
you not showing that part!! I tried to turn EVERY knob, but it's not working! it triggers the 2nd screen instead!!! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Could someone explain why they put two usb ports that only work in standalone mode? Stupid as fuck. And why is it when i unplug the Maschine from my computer, it won’t turn on into standalone mode. You have to have it connected to your computer, then go to settings and put it in standalone mode. Super stupid. Clearly NI rushed and threw this shit together.
This shit is hard to do and ur moving too fast
