She really knows this thing inside and out. Impressive.
She nailed it!
haha, nailed it...
This is ono of those insincere public exposure but I know from famous Artists how they meet Artist who inspired them and they were disappointed so the conclusion is that Art can be fantastic but that doesn't mean that Artist is person of quality as it's Art they produce or being part of like it's the case with Actors
😂
With this nails you have to nail it.
By far one of the best videos on the machine+ thank you🙏🏼
I love this type of music that makes me feel like I'm on a spaceship flying through space
Omg so cool!! I can't wait to put mine together and set it up!!
You nailed it. Love your tutorials.
Mu thoughts exactly 😂
Beautiful track Anna - amazing to see you record live vocals
That was brilliant. Cannot wait to get my hands on my MK3. 👍👍
Perfect timing. Mine arrives today.
Hey would you do me a favor? I want to ask you something, it would mean a lot to me .
Inspirador muchas gracias
Love the nails! 💅
Just bought one! This video swayed me. Those pads....
Fantastic tutorial. For the next one, it would be great to have an overhead view of the screen during key edits, and have the editing show what she’s doing *while she’s saying what she’s doing*. Overall, a great tutorial, with so many Maschine functions packed into one video. Bravo.
Very inspiring work. Thank you. It's great to see someone use the Maschine for something different than 90ies techno / house or lofi / hiphop.
I am considering purchasing one, but want to be producing something more along the lines of melodic downbeat. This presentation makes me more confident, that the Maschine MK3 could be the right tool for this. But is seems some sort of external synth may be necessary...
You don’t need ext synth , theres free software synths and ones to buy , or use sampler
@@youaintseenmeok Thanks for the advice. There probably is plenty of software solutions out there. But it is a priority to me to keep the setup/workflow as tactile as possible....and minimize the need for mouse/keyboard work as much as possible. I realize there'll still be a lot to gain by doing *some* post-production software on a pc, though.....At the same time I will have to stay within a budget... I'm still figuring it out - any experienced advise is always welcome
This video was exactly what I needed to being convinced.
The workflow is like how I use my Roland MV-8800 but then this unit is so much more up to date.
Thank you!
Did you think about M+ too ?
Finally no rap \ hi-hop \ trap... demo on maschine+ Thanks 😀
Really enjoyed watching this!
One of the best M+ videos.
Amazing she finished a track without Maschine freezing. Updates please!!
Nine Inch Nailish. :) Love it. Gr8 Work!
I honestly cannot wait for the NI module with you Anna.
Thanks for this video, some great work in there.
You did an AMAZING JOB! Thank you!
What a great trance beat!
Fab @AnnaDisclaim, MK+ seems to be my go to hardware atm. Brilliant techniques and tips. PBMS - whats happened to the Friday Forum Live these dayz. Used to love sitting down with a beerin the studio watching them......❤️🎹🎵🙏
Love mine had it 2 weeks now! Still have my MPC Live II but my first love is NI
Those nails sound so good on 16 pads!❤
Where can i buy the stand ?
Great you are. What do u add at 9.50
It’d be great if you released a book about production with Maschine+
M+ have a Manual and all it's needed is for a person to read and Maschine is simple str8 forward way of function, it's about remembering and it's not more challenging than Video Game on Easy mode . Actually it's not about equipment it's about Artists and will to learn to then express feelings and it's talking with sounds and composition I mean it's Art and when I look at her I see that something is wrong, she looks like she is at funeral and creative process and creating ideas is rewarding experience, excitement...I know what is with her but won't write publicly, on the other hand you can understand now from this time distance
fabulous!!
This is amazing. I can’t get anything goin on mine.
excellent channel, here is good music 👍♨️👍🙋♂️
I've just entered the world of maschine as I really like a lot of NI products, I thought it would be a good controller to change up the way I get inspiration but I'm really struggling with it.
It just doesn't feel intuitive at all.
I'm not sure if I'm just stuck in my ways but I'm finding it difficult to even want to learn it at this point.
Awesome
Thank you
Is there any tutorials for making Melodic Techno
Do you have a Maschine course?
a tue spirit machine sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice
Was the pad synth responding to the kick before the sidechain?
How many audio tracks do you get? What vocal effects? Plzz
Thank god the displays aren't touch....
She wouldn't be able to use her nails on an MPC, I used to have an MPC Live and pads and buttons were so stiff. The Maschine instead is a dream to play right out of the box.
Can I do the same on Maschine MK3?
yes you can, it's just the hardware integration is a bit different as yu don't have the USBs to send MIDI though but the MIDI in and outs, but besides that bit everything else is possible the same way with the MK3 given you are connecting your computer to it :)
@@anna_disclaim Thank you for quick reply my Dear!
I would like to know the name of the riser holding the maschine please.
Klearlook Laptop Stand Holder, Foldable Portable Ventilated Adjustable Laptop Riser with Carry Bag,Lightweight Desktop Ergonomic Space-save Notebook Tray Mount for iM ac/Laptop & 11-17" Tablet-Black - from Mr Bezos
How do I do a factory reset to re register to a new NI account?
How come she do pads with those fingernails? How uncomfortable.
Those pads won't last long under these nails ;-)
They're still going strong!
5:49 I didn't know the Maschine had the ability to troll the producer...
Do you have inversions in the chords?
From what I've seen you just go into the pattern edit mode and move the notes to the inversions you want. At least on Maschine MK3.
Amazing! Super cool workflow and this is really helpful. Dumb question for anyone who knows: what is happening the bass line is sampled back in? Why is this necessary?
I think by capturing/recording in the midi notes first, it then allows you to tweak with the controls of the synth or whatever is connected to the midi inputs of the Maschine. Like she did in the video.
So, the notes are recorded but can be tweaked/manipulated afterwards.
Whereas, if she recorded the Bassnotes first as audio, any tweaking in the controls done afterward would not have change the sound, like it did for the midi notes. Instead, She would have had to play with the controls on the synth at the same time, as playing the notes, to record the same parameter changes, as she ended up doing after recording. To make it sound the same.
I think I might be overcomplicating this, which is not the intention.
Basically, recording midi first gives more options to play with after..
With audio, whatever is recorded at the time is what will playback.
I think that is correct.
I wonder if her nails cut up the pads
Maschine + is great, but there are limits everywhere when producing complete songs on it. Want to see or edit automation? Not possible. Want to automatically trigger or record the lock states? Not possible. Want to record automation over multiple patterns? Get ready to blow up your project and make hundreds of clips. Want to merge 2 patterns into one? You have to copy midi notes to do that.
I have the feeling the software for this product is still in beta. Even after a couple of major updates.
Oh and before someone reacts by saying some of those features are only for live performance? The machine + has a bug that creates a crackling sound at random that can be fixed by resetting the internal soundcard (which majorly f**** up your sound) so no i would not dream of using the machine in a live situation.
Im just staring at the finger nails wondering how she is hitting them pads so hard with them! :)
Those pads will not survive too long.... ;) But movie is great!!!
What accent is that? It is constantly changing
Now if we can see someone do the arrangements 😔 can’t find any good videos on it
here is a fab vid by NI: support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000578389-Using-the-Ideas-and-Arranger-Views-in-MASCHINE-2-VIDEO-
And one about the new arrangement function; Clips- ruclips.net/video/772u5ZDKS0c/видео.html
Any videos going through it slowly on the Maschine Plus? I wanted a walkthrough on the stand alone, I know once I get it I got it, oh and great video, love your workflow and style!
NICE tutorial. I'm new to maschine very excited, ready to have some fun. I noticed that you "duplicated" some patterns. Why?
excellent tutorial but those nails are distracting… seems very uncomfortable. sorry
nail scissors remix
Many people trying to do videos like this know that an overhead camera shot looking directly down on the machine is the way to go. We can then see exactly what your hands are doing and we get a good look at the machine itself, giving a better view of the knobs and buttons you're turning or pushing. Sorry, for me, this was not that helpful.
question to resampling: is the setting of the pattern lenght being set auromatically. I did not saw adjusting the sampling take lenght in the video.
No, that was already set up, you need to use the encoder under the "Lenght", after that when you loop record onto another sound within the same group as a target, it will pick up the previous length setting.
There is the option to keep loop length automatic to when you record.
Your nails must hurt 🤐
I was thinking how dafug is she gonna use the pads with nails like that. Oh. She just stabs them. Maybe that's why my beats suck. I need to get some claws
Gotta do what you can to get that extra velocity.
As opposed to only showing us WHAT you did, it would have been nice to hear an explanation as to HOW you did it; moreover, it would have been great to explain WHY you made specific choices. All this would have helped people who are considering the Maschine based echo system. Sure, I know it's not Point Blank's job to make such videos, but you did make a video called "Machine Tutorial". A 'tutorial' is exactly what this video is NOT! You know, covering the What, Why, and How's are basic fundamental aspects to teaching.
Also, I couldn't understand what she was saying a lot of times due to her accent. Perhaps making a few cuts and using takes that sound best in the edit would help out.
I've seen other tutorials about the Maschine, by Point Blank, that were much better. This one fails. With only 700 thumbs-up, out of 34k views, explains a lot -wouldn't you agree?
Suxx
Nothing to do with how you look but I always cringe seeing long nails touching things.
Holy shit, new Mozart with ugly nails ! NOT !
This is f'n insulting :-)
It would be FANTASTIC if the video didn't keep bouncing from camera to camera. This is suppose to be a tutorial. There should be one camera as an over head shot and then another camera on Anna. I would never buy any courses from you based on what I saw in this video. I NEED TO SEE WHAT ANNA IS DOING 100% OF THE TIME!!! Sorry, you get a thumbs down.
Awkward
