Can't thank you enough for these videos. I'm a complete novice, and would be completely lost without them.
Most welcome, thanks for the comment Loubob!
"Sometimes you get cool accidents so whatever" - My whole process in a nutshell. Love the tutorial!
I don't think I've ever learned this much in one single RUclips video. THANK YOU !
Great to hear!! Thanks!
Sheez I didn’t even know that maschine did this. I’d switch to ableton for my warping needs. With live its like “of course you want the tempo of your sample to match...” with maschine it’s like “ if you, for some strange reason, want your tempo to match, we’ve provided you with an easy 41 step plan...” Thanks bro for helping us out.
No prob! It IS still a workaround though...
That’s so accurate. I love Maschine so I can’t leave but, it’s tempting
Thank you good sir. You are a scholar and a gentleman.
All I’ve ever aspired to be!
Blezz Beats is HILARIOUS!!!
Im offended and appalled that you "only" have about 40k subscribers. Just crazy that you dont have a few hundred thousand at a minimum.
Thanks D! I'm getting there... but it is a lot of work!
Jef, you are the only person who can explain complex issues and I understand them! Great job!👍 wouldn't ever be able to figure it out!
Thanks so much Jeff!!
How’s Maschine workin out for you as someone with learning difficulties?
Namaste 🙏🏽
i totally agree with that comment! some people are just born to teach. thank You.
....and here I was thinking I was getting better at listening and comprehension Lol! he does explain details a lot better than some
Jef is the man! Great video as usual!
Good stuff Jef !!! Thanks

WOW. This is truly essential.
Great video, just what I needed
Truly a Masterclass! This was so enlightening. Thanks a lot Jef! You are a hero.
Thank you Jef! I have been looking for this solution for a long time. Super super useful!

Thank YOU George!
Every video I watch I learn something. You're a great instructor. Thank you for your services.
Jef this tutorial was genius bro!
taught me what I was urging to know.
This is great and also exactly why Serato Sample is a lifesaver for those of us that get lost trying to do this…
Man this tutorial is good. Thanks for your time preparing it. You saved us a lot of headaches.
thank you for explain this so clear.
Aha now I know! Saved me a lot of head scratching too, much appreciated Jef 🙌
Nice one. Great video. The tip at the end was the thing i was looking for with the dragging and creating a old sample with the new bpm. The bits before were informative and helpful too.
Really good explanation! I have saved this video to come back and watch it again! Thx!!
So many great examples! thank you
Most welcome!
This is a really informative video, you've really explained everything very easily for something that is actually really complicated, so thank you very much :)
This explains a lot! Thank you Jef!
Thank you so much. I was looking for this audio/sampler Time stretching hot tip for months. ❤❤
Excellent video, you really make top notch vids !
Appreciate it Rob!
Yes! Thank you so much for this Jef. Your content is just amazing.
Appreciate it Morgan!
Master class💯
You are amazing Jeff, and you are a person I like to hang out all the time, because you talk what we need to hear all the time :)
Very Good Tut.
This video is the very best in explaining Pitch Shift+Time stretch in Maschine! Thanks so much. This is my go-to reference video! Thanks again.
Very helpful Jef! Thanks. I’ve been struggling with that scenario forever!
Glad to hear it! It's confusing stuff... solidified a lot for myself on this one!
This video has soooo many nuggets of knowledge!!!
Appreciate it!! I love pointing these things out…
omg.. I have been struggling with this for so long. This answers so many of my questions, Jeff. Thank you so much!
You're welcome Fredrik!
This the very best guide to time stretching on Maschine that I've ever seen since starting on Maschine 5 years ago. Awesome Job!
JG, You are by far the best teacher on RUclips. Keep up the good work. Greetings from the UK.
Thank you Jef always learning something new 😎cool
Wow!! Good stuff. Thanks
You have a criminally low amount of subs man. Such a good video - i shall share! Thanks Jef!
I always wanted to see inside the Thunderbird’s living spaces. Thank you brains! 🙏🏽
Super helpful! Thanks so much
Very good info. Well done Jef.. learned a lot.
Most welcome!!
Jeff, it’s like you are in my brain and giving me the answers I need and I was desperately looking for. Best tutorials. Thank you
Thanks George, and thanks for the tip!!
Jef, you are a complete gentleman. Best tutorials on maschine, and on topics that actually impede our work and grind our gears!! Thank you
Thanks Daniel, so glad to hear it!
GREAT GREAT GREAT Jef...this im getting tons of fun ....a lot, thanks to all of your maschine vids.
Me with Mikro MK3.
Appreciate it West Starr!
Great explanations. I wish id watched this a few weeks ago.Ive only recently been using audio tracks and loops along with the sampler. I only used Maschine for writing beats and doing all of the loop stretching in Ableton.
Seriously - thank you very much for breaking this down into sections that were easy to digest! I was having major issues with this recently, so this is a huge help.
Glad to hear it!
Hi Jef, as always... An informative, understandable, brillant explanation.Thank you. Also for not native english speaking Guys, like me.
Hey Jeff, your tutorials help me a lot. Thanks very much. You deserve all the support from NI. Your experiences are so incredibly valuable. I can find an answer to almost everything in your channel.
So glad to hear it! They support me very well.
Great video, brother!
For me, when I've done work in the audio module I just resample it while solo'd and then work with the new audio clip in sampler mode so that I can chop it. It's quick and dirty. :)
Edit. Scratch that. I just got to the 27 minute mark. Your method is so much cleaner! Awesome! Thanks, man!
From day 1 of my maschine journey you have helped me tremendously! I would probably not know how to do anything without your videos! 😂 Thank you man!! #3years
That’s the best, man I really appreciate it! #number1fan!
Mr Gibbons. First of all I must congratulate you sir, you are a god among mere mortals. Next, you should know, your explanations are eloquent, verbose, and amazingly easy to follow. Lastly, I have to thank you for seeing me through the most complex and maddening aspects of Maschine 2. Sincerely, from the depths, thank you kind sir! Thank you!
This was a great video! Thank You!🙂
You are most welcome Pablo!
To me, your channel is the best on RUclips when it comes to explaining how music software and hardware content works. Really good.
Cheers from Stockholm.
I really appreciate the kudos Ulf!
Jef is the GOAT for this tutorial! Kept wondering why my sample sounded like trash after trying to change the key by just dialing the tune knob didn't know I had to do it while hitting stretch in for the new BPM. Thank you!
You’re officially goated lol. Anytime I need a tip you pop up. You articulate yourself very well and it’s easy to understand thank you.
I’ll take it, thanks!!
here you go with a like #1000. Excellent video, I really get now sampler vs audio module thing a whole lot better and learned new things too, all within 30min.
Thanks Jef
Most welcome!!
Wonderful every time I watch his videos there's something new to learn that solves a pass problem or spark a new workflow idea 😂
That's so great to hear, appreciate it!
Thanks godddddd man, it’s what I’ve been looking for so long (2 months now I have my mk3) and didn’t understood why I was loosing my tempo when switching from audio to sampler mode it was driving me crazy!!! Thanks god also because I understand English because there is nothing like this in french sadly!!!
Thanks thanks thanks and thank you to the moon an back 😘😘😘
Could you please do a video on the EQ functions in regards to sampling?
Always appreciate the content.
For these hurdles is why I bought Serato Sampler plugin with Maschine. Serato makes sample chopping and time stretch a breeze. Plus it has KEY DETECTION. Great video Jeff.
Thanks Sam, I do need to get to Serato!
It’s honestly kind of sad that a software designed to be a sampler like maschine needs something like serato sample to actually be effective. I started on maschine but moved to Ableton now and it’s 10x easier working with samples now
@@jefgibbons If you get it, please do one of your awesome videos on it. This plugin really works great with Maschine and pad triggering. Totally worth it to be hassle free.
@@krispybowgod9656 I agree. Easy sample manipulation and key detection should be standard on any sampler software in 2021.
Serato Sample spoiled me. :D
These videos are totally invaluable Jeff ..really enjoying my new S88+ Maschine Mk3 Totally Awesome..
Johnny (Glasgow)
Glad to hear it Jono!
I am SO happy that I found your videos! All my years with N.I. products and you taught me something new, using pitch shift correctly.(and the, squiggly line😄) I was actually using and outboard sampler, to take samples, pitch &stretch, then bounce to Maschine, for more editing. Thank Thank Thank, You You YOU, Sir.
Thanks Mike! Really appreciate the comments, glad the videos are helping!
Hi Jef. Many thanks for the explanation.
You bet, thanks MAUS!
Thanks for all your scholary, should be sponsored by NI for shooooooow
Great video, thanks! I've had maschine for years and didn't know about the gate mode (especially with keyboard). Total game changer!
used Maschine for years and that gate mode explanation alone was worth a sub 🤞🏼hype to use this in my next beat
Glad it helped!
Thanks a lot 🙏🏼!
thx a lot you solve a lot of problems for me with that vid!
Same here! Taught myself some stuff making this vid!
This is such a good tutorial! Been working with Logic and had this issue for ages, couldn’t find anyone explaining why and had to find ways to work around it. Seems a lot easier in Maschine!
It could be better in Maschine too! But it’s usable if you know the quirks. Thanks Lexi!
I was just watching this video the other day, then I got an email from NI today finally answering to the Audio Module and Sampler issue
Great video, thank you. Subbed! I've used an Ensoniq ASR10 for years, so I thought Maschine would be easy to learn....how wrong I was lol. This video really helped, thanks👍(I'm still buying Serato Sample though 😄)
Fantastic !! You are going to make me upgrade to a maschine plus !!
Thanks Steven! I still am waiting for the day when I'm allowed to take this thing out of the studio and go work somewhere else in the world!
Always with great stuff good sir
Thanks!
Great video, I never even knew the difference of sampler and audio mode 🤣. Look forward to playing with the gate mode that was super interesting!
It is! Lots of creative possibilities
Great video, I had no idea you could change the pitch in gate mode on the audio module!
Yep. I discovered that here as well!
You really know how to teach music tutorials well......and the design of your studio is right up my street, very neat and ocd!
Thanks! Yeah, tends to trigger the odd person that hates a clean studio! Someone even said they couldn’t trust me because it was too clean… 🤷🏻♂️
@@jefgibbons lol!!!
Thanks so much! You cleared a lot up for me!
Glad to hear it!
After months you help me get this man your awesome and your right you have to watch multiple people to learn things sometimes thanks sir
So glad to hear it!
@@jefgibbons KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK SIR!!! 😎🤙🏾
To Be Honest This Is The Most Helpful Video I Seen On Maschine, You Broke It Down So Professional, Very Easy To Catch On, And Im Mad Im Just Finding Out About You Now Lol But Thank You For This Video!!!
Thanks Trev!! The channel is growing quickly! I really appreciate the support!
Muito Obrigado! Vídeo perfeito!
