So nearly a year on and my opinion of the watch has done nothing but improve. I've gone back to the titanium bracelet as I was doing more extreme stuff (mountain biking) so wanted something more secure. After wearing it for a couple of weeks I got used to it and then really liked it. The watch is faultless. I wear it everywhere. It's had several shades of shizzel kicked out of it and it looks like new. Never off my wrist apart from when I sleep.
I’ve just ordered this watch, one of the reasons was the on the fly clasp, I’ll be using that all day every day as my wrist swells and shrinks, superb.
I bought the blue version last year & I haven’t actually worn any of my other watches since. Although I’ve got a large wrist & have to get extra long straps, I thought it might wear too small, but it looks OK, I think it suit’s anyone. If it gets covered in crap, just get the nail brush out, restored to new. Time keeping is brilliant, only gained 3 seconds in 8 months, which makes a change from the mechanicals where I seem to be constantly regulating them. Definitely a keeper. Everyday I look at it I feel glad I got it when I did. Just come across your channel and look forward to seeing your other reviews.
Bought one a month ago and loving it. Great bomb proof watch and does what it should do with no fuss. I couldn't get on with the titanium bracelet though. I found the slight pressure on the inside of my wrist that the extra thick extension segment made was annoying. Put on a 2 piece strap and it's great.
This is what the Momentum Atlas wants to be when it grows up. Not a field watch guy, but I really, really like this watch. There may be a beauty in an automatic watch, but simple, rugged utility can be pretty damn attractive as well. Thanks for the review.
I love this watch and your brogue. I own this citizen as well. It’s a great watch. My great grandfather attended the university of Edinburgh before WW1. I wish you all the best. God bless.
With middle fingers up to Ray Mears and his bumchum Nigel Farage, this watch is utterly excellent, I have the Attenborough edition ;-) in blue with Kevlar band. I'm a seasoned outdoor type, born and brought up on camping and roughing it in the wilds of Scotland, Cumbria and the arse end of England and I'm sure it will withstand expeditions to the Lake District, the Cairngorms and the muds of Glastonbury! Thumbs up, great review.
I own this watch (serial number beginning 801), plus the RMC and its GMT version, all Full Titanium, and yes, they are all superb watches! Only thing that could be a bit better, the date window isn't the clearest. But, I think THE best that Citizen have come up with so far (only problem is it's JDM, but I own one), is the PMD56-2952 - what a FANTASTIC watch!! By the way, your watch looks like it's been deprived of light, the seconds hand jumps every 15 to 20 seconds. The cure is to stop it, then leave it in light for a while, and then re-set it.
The second hand jumps each time there’s an edit in the video, removing silences, breaths, hesitations… So it’s an illusion, it’s not really jumping. (We can see further in the video how the whole image jumps, not just the second hand.)
Found a new one just like yours about a month ago. Nothing else checks all of the functional boxes for me like this one. My wrist is just a bit smaller than yours, and anything remotely this tough is larger, thicker, and/or heavier. If I need a stopwatch, I'll use my simple G-Shock 5600, but this one is more versatile as I can change it between the bracelet and a NATO strap.
Stumbled across your review while looking to buy this watch. Fantastic review, I do already have a stainless steel citizen tough which I love as a do anything watch. Looking to buy this one the strap....but can't decide black or blue, would be my first titanium watch and this review is pushing me to pull the trigger!
Great review. Love your channel. Had the same watch. Gave it to my father when his watch broke. Miss it every day and also looking for a new one for me.
Love this watch. I have the blue version and have reviewed it on my channel, and it really is one of my favs. Love titanium watches! Great video, really well shot!
Thanks for the review. So bloody weird as this watch is available in several stores now in the UK eg watchshop etc. I'm about to buy one as I really like it. Thanks again
On the hunt too, one of my grails. Can't find anything bad about this watch, ticks all the boxes in my list, other than availability outside UK. Not just a grab and go, looks, specs, legibility are brilliant too, a peace in mind watch. Damn you Will, i'm jealous now...😋 Kidding mate, enjoy (again)! PS Fits your wrist like a glove mate, honestly.
Did you notice it jumps 2 seconds occasionally. They do 2 second jumps continuously when low on power but to do 2 second jumps randomly maybe a faulty watch ?
Great watch, I have the blue dial one. I totally agree with your comments about Bear Grills, he is a Walter Mitty, not a real survivalist like Ray Mears. He was also only in the TA Paras, never did any operational tours and failed his TA SAS selection course…… but pretends he was in the SAS….I have not respect for him whatsoever…..🤬🤬😡😡🤬😡🤬
Thanks ..I love your review. I have the watch as a result . I found a new one online for £280 Ernest Jones website . It's discontinued but as you say there is a reducing stock for those who see it and think " this watch looks fantastic ". It's the best size ,it's chunky ,it's lightweight ,it's monoblock FFS ! Sapphire ,fantastic lume . It's a proper tough bugger .And the ecodrive so time keeping is reliable ..... This watch is one I will keep . God willing ! All the best ,from London.
Gshock Analog Frog, Mudmaster 1 and 2, Squale and Seiko. Oh, and a Citizen BN diver and a few other ones. THIS one definitely is interesting. Apocalypse, well, the Gshock wins......but if the world isn't coming to an end I would like to add this one to my collection.
Ray Mears is the man and I love this watch; it looks very much like a Momentum I have. P.S the shop in Warwick is still advertising that they have one left.
Great review buddy. Made me laugh listening to your less than politically correct comments. Just bought one today. Due on Monday. Can't wait. ATB mate, Des
Hello. The monobloc case is not increasing the cost of any potential maintenance? Even Citizen advice on their website to maintain eco drive movement every 3 years. Seems not easy with that kind of case.
This one the kevlar. Now on a Nato. Almost get's 90 procent of my wrist time. Legible, rugged, lite, seconds hitting the markers, 300 mr wr, Sapphire. Exclusive as well being a UK-only release. Everybody got hyped up over that stupid plastic Omega Swatch while I got this in 2019 for almost the same money.
Omega Swatch does look better, but the value for the price is definitely for this citizen ( who owns myiota who makes the movement in the Omega Swatch watch lol )
What is the screw down crown like? I had another citizen titanium watch and the screw down thread was very short (and gritty). After a few months it stripped. Citizen replaced it and it the replacement was the same. Is the crown on this watch any more robust? Thanks
I want this watch. Simple, tough, utilitarian. Boring for some, exciting for people like me. Thanks for the review. This was the wrong video for me to see on pay day lol!
I just ordered mine from the UK. Used the 10% off coupon. Kinda cool it is not available in the USA. 300m water resistance is impressive. Better than Seiko dive watches.
@@micheldepaula8733 I also own the Royal Marines Commando, which make an interesting pair, plus the GMT version too - all Full Titanium. But, even better, I think, is the PMD56-2952 - check that one out!

“Several shades of shizzel” , that’s a funny phrase

I actually like it in nice good old scotish accent. More than standard london english, to posh for me.

Go to the link in the description for DC Leake, they sell it and ship internationally.

Back in stock at many places here in the UK
Have you noticed the second hand jumps at ten seconds past and again on other parts ? Is yours faulty ? Thought a watch geek would notice that ?.
No, it's perfectly fine. What you see is video editing with no effects on the transition.
thankyou so much for really helpful video. Does it have hacking function?
Yes 👍
