Hi all :) @mother.life.official & I are running an International Giveaway on my Instagram. Don't miss out on your chance to win two of my trusted growlights: instagram.com/p/C2ZiWr1vGuW/
🌺Oh Brad was PISSED you didn't stop to feed him immediately lol. Love his lil frustrated meows 🤣🤣
🌸 I love the longer videos, fast paced or not. And it is always fun to see your entire collection, not just a specific few.
Thanks :)
So heart-breaking to see Brads picture with his brother. They look adorable. I mean, your plants are also adorable. But, you know, you make a whole long video about your plants and Brads brother is what stays in my mind at the end 🤷♀🌹🌻
It is heartbreaking but grateful for the time we did get to spend together :)
Garden looks amazing! As if you moved in years ago! You have put so much hard work into it! 👏👏 spectacular!!
The man is *not* lazy 🤣
❤ Liebe Grüße an Brad.
Ja oder? 🥺 Bin richtig neidisch, wenn ich das sehe. Da hat Jan alles richtig gemacht 🪴
You should see the gardens in Brisbane.
This was such a delight having you take us through a whole house tour with you, thankyou! 🪴💮🌼
Your orchid is dormant during summer, and will be very happy in that position. I hope it rewards you with some lovely sprays of flowers this year!
Poor Bradley he was very ready for his dinner, such a handsome boy ❤
I don’t know my favorite space or plant, it’s all such a beautiful tranquil space you have established. And agree, you are where you’re meant to be. I’m so happy it’s worked out for both you Bradley and your housemate Huffa 🪴🪴
I’ve always loved your outdoor spaces, but this garden look like a ‘jungle oasis’ & I love it the best. I’m still amazed at the growth on your melanochrysum & gigas. Just continue to provide videos that you like as we love them all Jan!💐🌻🌺
Thank you :)
Oh man, that anthurium corner of your bedroom is really special! 🌸🌼🌺
holy moly that splendid is incredible
🌸Oh my god!! A video about revamping the Glorious would be *chefs kiss*!
🌺 the protea looks like it ready to pop. 🎉
Enjoyed watching this video and seeing all of your wonderful plants, inside and outside.
At the beginning you talked about the tall plant which was there when you moved in and which needs to be cut back! Just be warned that it is a Euphorbia type (sorry don’t know it’s exact name!) but it does have the white milky sap in it which can be very harmful if you get it on your face near your eyes and if you have sensitive skin can also irritate that. Please be very careful and wear protective gear. If you want to plant up the cuttings let them ‘bleed’ out first and leave to air dry awhile before potting up. Also you can pour running water over the cuts on the main plant to stop the ‘bleeding’. You probably already know this but just wanted to let you know in case you didn’t already know. 🪴🌵🧤🌿
came here to say the same thing! be careful.
I also came here to say that too. Some people can be particularly susceptible to the irritation from euphorbia milky sap.
It’s a beautiful mature specimen.
Holy Moly Jan, this has taken my breath away! I knew you had a lot of plants but I didn’t honestly realise how many until this video 😵💫😵💫 Your glasshouse is like the tardis from Dr Who. Everything looks amazing, lush & healthy, you must be so proud of your wonderland 👏👏👏 Standing ovation Sir, now go feed your baby Brad 😂😂
Could not word it any better.
I had an issue with Florida Ghost too, got a cutting that was well rooted with one leaf and it stayed that way for roughly 8 months. Thought it was a zombie leaf for the longest time and then out of nowhere it just pushed out 4 leaves in a few weeks. Super random how it showed no signs of growth and then bam it took off lol.
🌸 I like seeing your entire collection and, personally, I also enjoy silent plant tours 😊
Thanks :)
Some nights, I just have a feeling you're gonna post, so I do a stake out in my bedroom
hehe, well I post every Tuesday and Thursday :P
@@sydneyplantguy ahhh my natural weekly cycle is in sync with your posting schedule hahaha
the ending was so nice and wholesome, thanks for sharing 🌻
I love to see you grow more Alocasia's 💕
🌸 loved it all but wow that view of your greenhouse while you’re seated outside is gorgeous.
Thanks :) my fave part as well :)
💮🥀🌻 These are all the flower emoji's I have. You are lucky to have such an accommodating flat mate. I'm loving the greenhouse especially. LIving vicariously through you with that.
Thank you :)
🏵️ Wow Brad doesn't mess about when he's hungry... Absolutely awesome collection and I am very pleased your plants are doing well after the move. 🪷
He knows what he wants and isn't shy about it haha :D thanks :)
🐈 Brad well fed and our hunger for your delicious collection satisfied! Thank you again for the wonderful tour.😻
Thanks :)
Bradley!!!!😂😂😂😂😂 Everything looks amazing, Jan!🪴 Thanks for the tour. 🌺
Thank you :)
Thanks bro.....so beautiful, living with plants ......
The world is so toxic now, we need more plants.
I love Brad 's meow. ❤
I would like to know about more re alocasia plant care.
I have three of them now but somehow only one is thriving. The other two seems to be dormant.
Thanks :)
Love your channel. 💕💕 @22.10 =Ravenala madagascariensis. Your Moss poles certainly help climbers grow very strong and fast. I'm a "Plant addict" too on acreage in Far Nth NSW. 🌄 SO good to see you've moved into a house with plenty of outdoor space to grow plants. 👌💯"Awesome vid, loved it!!
Thank you :) fairly certain it is a BoP though. What makes you think it’s not?:) and yes … gardening outside is so much fun 🙌🙌
@@sydneyplantguy Your welcome. Your plant in the gardens may well be BOP? The leaves are very wide and long which steers towards RM. See how large it grows, and the future will tell its TRUE identity! I also watched another Nursey vid and you stood in front of a Ravenala Madagascariensis and called it Bird of paradise. 😊😊 BOP grow to only 6ft high. When you were on eBay I bought some Spendid's off you. You're a true /keen/plant lover with a "very" green thumb. 👍👍Edit re BoP= It could very well be Strelitzia nicolai (Giant White Bird of Paradise) 🤔🤔
🌻You are inspirational. Thanks for sharing your paradise with us. 😊
🌹🌱💚 these longer vids are fun to watch, thank you so much
How do you always post EXACTLY when I need one of your videos?
Well, I always post at the same time :P
소중하고 멋진 식물 영상 행복하게 잘보고 응원합니다❤❤❤
Absolutely gorgeous. This tour was the perfect length. 🌸🌼🌷
Thank you:)
🌹🌺🌻🌷🌼Amazing!!! Loved it all, will be watching again 💕🐈
Brad😂😂😂😂😂 🌹 I love watching tours and wishlist videos. It's how I find my plants 😂
Thanks :)
Regarding mosquito control, I’ve faced similar challenges due to the severe mosquito problem in my area. Many friends have highly recommended the Spartan Mosquito Eradicator, and I can personally attest to its effectiveness. However, I’m not certain about its availability in Australia. If it’s accessible there, I definitely suggest giving it a try!
Aww yiss! 1:12 hour full plant collection, I'm ready!! 🤤
To deal with the mosquitoes you could use mosquito bits berried down one inch into the soil and it'll slowly desolve in the moisture and hopefully kill the larvae
🪷 it’s truly inspiring to see how you keep this amount of plants with all the moving … I thought you could only have that kind of setup when you stay in one place for years. Great pleasure to watch
Thank you :) definitely a lot more work involved when moving with so many plants, but everything is possible if you want it badly enough :D
🪻Always learning from you! I love how Brad "talks" back to you. ❤
Thanks :)
So beautiful, tranquil and lush - we can always trust Jan to bring us a paradise 🌺
🪴Thanks for hanging out with us ! What a refreshing hour it was 🍃☺
Bradley was so cute, moaning for his food . He said 2 minutes, not a chance. Love the plant tour. I am glad that you and your roommate are doing well and respect each other's boundaries. I liked the tempo, I didn't feel it was too fast. 🥀
Thanks :)
🌻Love your longer videos. I watch them over several days / sittings - thanks for being my buddy to eat dinner with the last 3 nights!! (Its not as sad as it sounds haha). x
Hehe thank you:)
🥀🌻I thought the pace of the tour was perfect. Your plants are looking terrific. Glad you are happy with your new place.
Thanks so much! 😊
Thanks for the wonderful tour, Jan!!🌸
Thank you:)
🌻
Yes Beau, what an inspiring take two. Look forward to you starting the run in the upcoming ep 🎉
Your new place is a dream!!!! I love it! It’s perfect!!!! 🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴💚💚💚💚💚
Thank you:)
🪷🪻🌸 loved the tour. Brad reminded me of my previous cat with the meowing for ages before dinner time. I ended up setting an alarm on my phone for her dinner time and when she started meowing, I’d remind her she hadn’t heard the alarm yet. It reduced the meowing.
So smart!! I’ll give it a try :)
Your new place is ideal with the garden and greenhouse…so many gorgeous growth to bask in. Love it.
I can't wait for the summer
Spectacular!!!!!! What a great collection and so healthy looking. Thank you for sharing!
🌺 so had to come back cuz I do watch til the end, but often get interrupted on the longer videos. Great way to start my morning to day dream of my moss pole's potential. Thanks for all the inspiration!😻
🌸 your plant tours are always a treat! Thank you! 💚
Thank you :)
Hey mate, I recommend mosquito bits from Bunnings. You can soak these bits in water every now and then, and then sprinkle the water around. It's quite effective. I've used this method for the small ponds on my balcony, and it's been great at eliminating the fungus gnats too. Otherwise just throw them around the garden right from the pack.
I just threw them in the garden bed .. maybe soaking helps :) thanks !
Wholly crap... that begonia.. awesome❤
Exploring nursery.... I found 17 dollars of ruclips.net/user/shortsl_9rIie9zuQ?feature=share
Your place looks amazing, especially the courtyard and the greenhouse is looking fabulous! 😊🌱
🌸 Thank you for the tour! I always look forward to your videos. I save them for weekends and do all may plant chores while listening. Except this time I couldn’t wait!
🌺 we love Bradley 🐱. The new garden is beautiful and looking forward to how it will evolve.
Brad is so cute with his Meows!🐾Thank you for another great video, and a tour of your new place with all of your beautiful plants.🌻
Thank you! 😊
💐thank you Jan for opening your home n sharing your plants. It is comforting to know that you have plants that thrive n like the rest of us - some that struggle n not looking instagram perfect too ! 🌺 n that our plant journey is on going n learning. Brad says : next time feed me first before you film 🌼
Hi Jan 💫 Everything looks so beautiful and cozy! I’m in love with your Vittarifolium. I have a baby one and am aiming for mine to be as big and long as yours.
My goodness. Bradley is a mess lol. I had no idea cats could be so vocal. What a sweet boy.
I hope you have a fabulous weekend. 🪴🙏🏻💫

Thanks so much! 😊
🌼 Bradley is a very talkative cat. Your plants are beautiful as always. Enjoyed seeing summer weather from back in the Northern Hemisphere where the snow is slowly melting, getting ready for the next wave of winter.
Thank you! 😊
Goodness you have a lot of great plants🌺
Thanks :)
Thx for showing us around your new apartment.
We took a tour together with grandma Christel. xoxo from 🇩🇪
Hallo :) sitze hier grad mit der Mama :) grueße xx
I've seen your plants so many times but I'm always amazed, they are stunning and clearly like their new place and spring time 😊 I'm suprised though that philodendron florida gives you hard time, mine is growing like a weed even in the middle of winter 😁🌼🌹🌷🌺🌸💐
I played you through my headphones while I potted up a couple of Variegated Monstera Deliciosas. I did have to run into the house a couple of times, so that I could see what you were talking about, but generally, for me, it is about having you talking to me while I'm working myself.
🌺 I LOVE the full tours! Everything about this video was perfect. Thank you!
Thanks :)
🏵 Counting plants sounds like a fun video idea.
Highly recommend this video 🌺🌺
Great video! 🌺

Thank you :)
🪷 great plant tour, loved it!!

🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟Hey.. Dropping in to recommend an idea for the mozzies!
I use 2 different things..not sure if you can get the spartan mosquito eradicator in your location but they do work.
Second is the biggest help... my big industrial fan. Get screen and attach it to the back of the fan... Turn on the fan and it catches and traps thousands a night! Seriously works!!! Good luck..I hope you can enjoy your beautiful garden without being eaten alive soon!! 🌱💚
