Thanks for sharing your creative mind with the world! I’m currently interesting in making my own version of reed diffuser, air wick freshener refill, and now foaming hand soap to reduce household expenses. I wonder if I can use fragrance oil instead of essential oil for this recipe? The reason I ask is because I want to use the fragrance oil which I have in hand, rather than spending money buying essential oil. Thanks again. Love from Arkansas. ❤️
This is great thanks! I do have one question though, why is it not necessary to dilute the essential oils in a carrier, unlike most other skin applications?
Great question, and thanks for watching! In this blend the Castile soap is the carrier, so the essential are well diluted in this foaming soap recipe (:
Yes! While different liquid castile soaps can be similar, not all are created equal! We love sourcing an unscented/fragrance free castile soap so we can add our own essential oils to them (:
I am excited to see the video! Thank you! My 3 year old son loves foaming soaps 🧼! On the other note, I saw in one of the videos that you live in the mountains. What mountains are those? They look beautiful. Thank you.
Great question! Over time the foamers can clog slightly, so we suggest running hot water through the mechanism in-between batches of soap. If it starts to clog before you run out, you can take a toothpick, or something with a small edge and clean gently clean out the opening. Because castile soap is so concentrated, adding a little bit of a carrier oil is a great way to help the soap from being so drying to the skin.
This sounds like a great idea especially for Christmas gifts!
I think so too!
Same here - agreed! I made a bunch to put in gift baskets.
Best hand foam mix I ever seen. Thank you!!
We appreciate you watching! Happy blending (:
What a great video! Thanks so much...these would make great gifts!
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching and have fun blending 💕
Thanks!
An you add the avocado oil to any oil or only specific scents
Love this! Thanks for sharing!

What is hydrosol?
Would love to hear more about Castile soaps being different. I know some are scented but not sure if that is what you meant 😊

That is awesome! I live in the Bitterroot mountains near Missoula Montana 💕
Wow, amazing, thank you for sharing 🙏
Are we supposed to add water to the soap before putting in the dispenser? What makes the Castile soap foam up?
Wont the carrier oils eventually clog the foaming mechanism?

How many ounces of each container
The larger bottles are just over 8 fl-oz each (250 ml) and the smaller one is just under 2 fl-oz (50 ml)
I'll be there!
It should be a really fun event! See you there.
My foaming hand soaps have not turned out well--could be the dispenser but regardless, I'm looking forward to the presentation on Saturday.
Hopefully with these recipes you'll find some new success! We'll see you there!
I'll be there as well.
See you there!
