My circadian rhythm is so out of whack due to return from vacation jet lag, dismally dark rainy days & head cold symptoms that just won't clear, so I will be making this linen spray without a moment's hesitation. I am looking forward to the relaxing, sleep promoting properties of the blend. Thank you Karen for another truly practical recipe and as always, an engaging presentation! Ann
As always you do a great job in choosing the right essential oils for the body to balance the issues. Thank you so much. I really love the Lavender Artisan. Such a beautiful, clean, fresh, calming, relaxing aroma. BTW, I love this recipe! ❤
Will there be a replay I hope! I may need to go to yoga (it's at the same time :( ) but assuming there is a replay, I will make the lavender spray after class and try it out tomorrow night!
What is the shelf life of this spray? Does it need a preservative? Normally I add alcohol to hit 25% to ensure safety when adding water to a product. Is hydrosol different or is solubal a preservative?
Great question. Shelf life is only a couple weeks as this recipe doesn't use a preservative. If you're looking to preserve longer you can use a high proof alcohol like everclear replacing about 25% of the water with the alcohol 💕
I LOVE lavender spray, BUT the only way I have been able to get to sleep is either that concentrated amount in an inhaler or a whole drop on my pillow.
Cool lady. Only 'director' should rethink profile angles, no creativity necessary. She's accomplished much over those 25 years, lives her message, and it shows in her countenance. Love when people from the 'medical' bubble segue from science to nature. I'm nature (first) then science if Mother Nature doesn't work, and while it might take longer, it typically does.
I sure hope you get well soon Karen! Take care and rest up.
Thank you for the well wishes!
I can’t wait I’m so excited
Love their videos, recipes, and products! Such a lovely company with such genuinely lovely people. Happy New Year!

Great question!
A substitute for Ylang Ylang please ❤
How about Vetiver?
Great question! Clary Sage, Roman Chamomile, Bergamot Mint, and Vetiver as mentioned below would all be lovely substitutes (:

Inhalers are also a great way to help support sleep! You could try incorporating the linen spray, along with the inhaler for a double dose of calm (:
