All the teachers told there is no formula for finding no. of isomers but u gave, thanks a lot ma'am 😄

😊good . I have never seen this formula even though I have been teaching a Level chemistry for 20 years. I think Indian exams ask about no of isomers . British syllabus asks only till hexane.

For alkenes the formula is different for even and odd numbers of carbon
For even -- 2^n-2+1
For odd--2^n-2

no.of chain isomers for C4H10 is 2 susbstitute the 2as n value in (2n-1) formula we get 3 i.e the isomers of C5H12 and substitute the 3 as n value we get 5 i.e for C6H14 😉
But for the compounds like C3H9N how to draw their isomers.Is there any trick for them please tell me mam 🙏🙏
