It can be used as introduction to GOC but not as a guide. If you are not a complete new guy I’d advise you to still watch this but I don’t suggest the whole video. Start watching the video and skip through the parts you don’t need an introduction to.

I've just chosen organic chemistry as my major. I was freaking out at all the syllabus and books. I was thinkin, I chose wrong subject cause I don't understand these mechanisms. This video calmed me down, I now know these basic concepts, may be it'll become easier. I still want to learn all the mechanisms so much that I can solve them on my finger tips.
