Resonance structure stability is also determined by fulfillment of octet rule, if two structures are compared and one does not have octet fulfilled even if it has better charge separation, it is less stable so octet rule is very important...

16:42 -CH3 group doesn’t give Mesomeric effect with another carbon, therefore order should be ortho >meta >para. Short, precise and great video otherwise!!❤❤
Edit : there is no electronegativity difference between two carbon atoms, hence resonance/mesomeric effect wont occur.

@@gauripandey2566ithink your wrong rosenence effect /mesomeric effect (+R/+M) act in case of ch3 , it's ortho para directing electron donating group (Hyperconjugation is the reason that ch3 act as +R/+M ) so in case of meta side the N comes in meta side no +M in that case but in 2nd structure the ch3 is in para position there is +M

Actually ch3 group has +M it's only on ortho and para positions not on meta so we have to consider+M not only +I
