- Champion Scottish bagpiper Stuart Liddell playing a series of Jigs during his recital at the Braemar Gathering and Highland Games centre on 26th March 2022. The set is "Dr Flora MacAuley of Carradale" by Allan MacDonald, "The Jig of Slurs" by G.S.MacLennan, "The Atholl Highlanders" a traditional tune, arranged here by S.Liddell and "The Cameronian Rant", another traditional tune, arranged by G. Walker.
Stuart Liddell from Inveraray, Argyll, Scotland, is a piper of great distinction, who has won many of the top awards in solo piping, including several Gold Medals and has twice won the Glenfiddich Piping Championship. Stuart lives in Inveraray and is Pipe major of the Grade 1 Inveraray & District Pipe Band, which he founded in 2003. That board with the names of past winners is a who's who of piping. Awesome playing on a beautiful set of MacRae pipes from McCallum.
Having this instrument singing out its glorious notes on the march into battle must have risen your morale by 1000x words can't describe how i feel about the pipes.
