I can definitely vouch for your connection to this music, the Scots and the Vikings were quite neck and neck in how fiercely true they stayed to their roots until the old world began to change - and even now those that feel that same blood coursing through their veins find a way back to their passion for the culture. The first time I saw some of the videos form this group, I had to pick my jaw up. First, the music, it speaks to my core, to my inner being. Second, Mr. Lamb could be my father's twin. Not only in looks, but in mannerisms shown. But then, there's the music. I can never say enough about the music.

It's fun, but the old Highland clan music was nothing like this. It was the British army, after the clans were destroyed, that mixed drums and bagpipes together. You want to hear the ancient bagpipes of war from the 17th Century? It's this: ruclips.net/video/4JrsySg1AHk/видео.html.

AMEN! My family hails primarily from England and Sctland so this music really "vibes" with me! Tragically too many Americans these days associate bagpipes with funerals of dead policemen so you don't see a lot of interest outside of Canada.

Anonymous Libertarian I don’t think you understand. The bagpipes are associated with bravery, duty, and honor on the field. The Scottish heritage has become larger than Scotland, that’s why militaries (my own marine corps) and police often call upon bagpipes. It’s a symbol in the military.

Damn right! Thats my heritage and I love it. Scottish born, Scottish lives with two kids of the fairest hair and bluest eyes. I have their albums and just stick it on when I'm in the house because it's the blood my boy 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

@@christianfreedom-seeker2025 You Obviously don't know what you're talking about, or the reason bagpipes are used in funerals involving police or military.
Also in America, they have Scottish or Celtic festivals and games in different cities around the country, so not sure where you're getting the "No interest outside Canada" deal. Maybe you watch too much TV.
