well, if they think 85K USD is bad, then they will just call the LX600 a nerfed LC 300 series that costs too much at $135K.
there is one sitting right down the road from me at the local toyota dealership thats asking 117k USD. It looks completely out of place and will probably be dealer traded (again) im sure. @@huanronghu4432

80k-ish for the OT+ in many markets. Some international viewers insist this is a Prado... well.. wait for the price tag 😆 80k is Full-Length Landcruiser price, not Prado price. A Prado would retail for ~60k.

So the GX/Prado and the LX/Land Cruiser is on the same frame?? I thought the LX600 was bigger than the GX550. With a larger frame to match.

I remember when concerns were expressed about the global platform, and Toyota engineers responded by saying the benefit of the TNGA-F platform is that it can be modified, shortened, widened etc to suit each segment. It seems they skipped out on that modifying part, because they all pretty much have the same wheelbase lol

do we know when their products will be available? nothing on their site as of yet. It would be awesome if Lexus offered it as a package on their website
JAOS GX550 availability is unknown at this time. Presently JAOS has aftermarket lift kits, bumpers, wheels, racks etc for the 4Runner/Prado 150 and Jeep Wrangler and other SUVs...
@@LexusGX460-OFF-ROAD with a lift kit like that does the radar cruise control and driving assists become a lot less effective and is there a way to calibrate all that to act like stock.
I wish we could buy JAOS in Australia. I’d love to see their accessories on the new LC 250 which in Australia and in some other parts of the world is still going to retain the Landcruiser Prado name.

I like your accent of the cantankerous critic with all sorts of questions even before you begun to explain yourself. You do an awesome accent to match them and assuage their fears and anxiety right from start. This JAOS build though, is for sure, the kind of pandering and showboating that, I have to admit, unsettles the avid Toyota fan, a tad bit. I understand it is marketing. At the end of the day, Toyota wants to sell, sell, sell. However, I am not sure how I feel about becoming a part of a group of pretentious Off-Roaders, if this pandering becomes as much a thing as it is now with some other brand. I am a Toyota fan because I do not want to be part of that crowd of showboating, or is this view also as insufferable as the showboating itself? Your thoughts?

Hello. Frames are not exactly same as lx and lc. Different mounts etc control arms suspension across the lines. This is discussed on land cruiser project and ih8mud. Seems frame however may be better on the gx but still no actual comparisons. Ashamed lexus blurred lines among lx and gx making the lineup confusing. Not much of a niche for lx600.
You continue to go on about how amazing ing the gx550 is yet you are constantly dogging on Toyota dor their price and this particular engine blowing up as you put it…. So which is it? Cool awesome Funtime truck, or crap that should not have come out yet?
