This was one of the greatest interviews thus far. Morris Hayes is always so open and candid but still respectful of Prince's privacy. But him mentioning Prince, MJ & Lenny Kravitz all meeting in the studio at one time is LEGENDARY!

Loved part three so much! Especially the part about the 5 Princes and the MJ stories. Oh how I would love to be a fly on a wall in that studio with Prince, MJ and Lenny. I was also shocked to hear Morris mentioning that Prince said he could feel no music at the time of MJ’s death. We all know that Prince felt music 24/7 and probably even in his sleep, so for him to say that, he must’ve been really distraught over MJ’s death. Can’t wait for part 4. Keep up the great work guys!
I'm glad to hear that MJ and Prince were really friends and that it was nothing but a friendly competition between the two.

I am so glad to know that someone who Prince trusted told him that he should be careful (wear his seatbelt) because the whole world would mourn if something happened to him. For some reason, it makes me smile to know that Morris told him that and, at least for the moment, he was reminded how much he meant to a whole lot of people. ☔️💜☔️
These videos have been soooo great, even with the unfortunate noise....great job you guys, dont let screaming kids make you sweat. you guys remained so cool and calm, GREAT STORIES!!!

Great stuff both. I love hearing Morris talk about Prince. Great spirit about the dude. And such a funny and brilliant storyteller. I reckon that was partly why Prince kept him around that long.

Mr. Hayes has got to be the coolest, most patient dude EVER to put up with this noisy, background screaming debacle!!😲😲😲 Thanks for adding the subtitles! Really wish you were able to edit some of the background noise. Nonetheless, I 💜💜 hearing Mr. Hayes sharing P stories. I was taken aback by him talking about P's impromptu visit and P showing 💜 and appreciation for Hayes. I would agree w/your assessment of P's dual personality and his random display of true kindness humility. Again, these are just assessments bc P struck me as a complex dude(as a fellow Gemini-I cosign!😉) However, I believe when he was sincere, he was truly genuine in his expressions. My follow up question to Hayes would've been: Why would P question Hayes' loyalty in 2012, which ultimately led to Mr.Hayes leaving the P camp??(His own words.) Fab interview!

I think that Prince is every day on there mind. I mean the people who where close to him and worked with, even if it's 2.5 years of him passing. It's like yesterday.

Another great interview. Thank you both so much for all of your efforts to bring these great conversations to all of us. The noise in the background was distracting at times as others have noted but it's helpful to have the subtitles at the bottom. Morris is so insightful and funny. Can listen to him talk about music and our beloved all day! Awesome. Can't wait for the final installment! :) :)

Sounds from what Morris was saying about 5 personalities, Prince had multiple personality disorder (now dissociative identity disorder).
PrinceZappa isn’t that, unfortunately, quite common for those in Hollywood? Seems they all endured a lot of stress...
