    You have an incredibly challenging work environment, Sorin! The mic you normally use blocks out the background noise for us. But this time, we could hear what you face daily. You have to deal with so much noise and distraction every day. And you have so little space to work on the things. All this, and you're still able to work so efficiently and teach us along the way. Wow! You are a really talented and patient teacher. I'm sure the mic will be sorted in future vids. Thanks again for all your efforts!

    Great video! That was painful. Just do it your way, the way you like to do it. I like how you do it, quick, efficient, precise, smart, and the most important thing, it works!
    When you explain which mosfets to short and which ones not to short, that is enough. Do it your way, that is the best way. and Thanks!

    Hey we all have those days of forgetting stuff, you are not the only one :-).
    You still have a bit of a cold, you are not 100% yet.
    You may want to discribe the power channeling mosfets as "Gates", open or closed gates, for people that dont understand.
    Usually if the mosfet has a P junction, then the gate voltage is lower than the drain to switch on, and a N junction gate is higher than the drain, as far as i can remember, but mosfets are something i didnt learn much about lol.
    i could be wrong LOL

      no, your right

    • @lesleymunro4964
      @lesleymunro4964 6 лет назад

      Actually It's the difference beween the gate and source (Vgs) which turns on a MOSFET. N channel, the voltage is positive beween the gate and source, P channel it is negative. This doesn't mean you need a negative voltage on the gate, only negative in relation to the source. In that circuit, the source is connected to 19V, the drain is the output to the rest of the laptop, and the gate would get pulled low to turn it on. I found a quick tutorial here which might make sense of it. www.baldengineer.com/p-channel-mosfet-tutorial-with-only-positive-voltages.html

    Sorin, cei doi mosfeti sunt de regula de tip P chanel. unul e ous invers fata de celalalt. Daca chiar ai nevoie, cauta schematics pt hp 4510s si poti observa. Sunt si modele cu unul P si unul N, chiar si modele cu un singur mosfet P ch. Sau uita-te ce scrie pe spatele mosfetilor si vezi ca sunt la fel. Cauta apoi schematics pt ei pe net.

    Some charging ports can become damaged through constant wear. I have found on some DC/IN connectors that the central pin & the side rails can sometimes become loose or bent enough to not sustain a proper connection with the adapter end.
