@@grudgesgalore8666 sorry to make you angry. That's exactly why I usually don't comment on anything because there's always a turd in the bunch bowl that get butt hurt. I was informed over 20 years ago that Gene used recordings from sound checks and added the audience for effects. The comparison to that album vs the video footage of live shows from that same era is too different. Paul moves away from the mic during the performance and and the albums that's not happening. Look I love kiss more than anyone
@@adamroderick9998 i'm referring to KISS ALIVE II THE ALBUM not this posted video YOU SAID THAT ALBUM IS SOUND CHECKS , that's 100% inaccurate I'VE SEEN INTERVIEWS WITH STANLEY AND SIMMONS STATING THE LIVE SECTIONS ON ALIVE II ARE 100% FROM THE FORUM ! it's obvious whoever posted this video that's it's just a homemade bullshit version !! ALIVE II sides 1 2 3 were 100%live THAT IS FACTUAL !! instead of calling names on here , GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT , I UNLIKE YOU DON'T NEED TO RESORT TO NAME CALLING !
@@thefonzkiss you getting your info from where??? you say JAPAN? you get that info from where??? i get it from simmons and stanley , even google says it is from the forum TRY AGAIN tell ASIMMONS AND STANLEY THEY ARE LYING see how much you get sued for!!
Ace was the most talented one on that stage! He could do circles around the others with that guitar!! 😲
Lol
@@luismaldonado4989 Lol
Very well put together. Niceto have a visual with this classic album.
Best thing I've seen all covid long ⚡ 🎸
Saw original 4 in “77 and ‘78. Huge fan and still love the band. After original 4 they were not the same.
Larger than life!!!!!
Yeahhhhh! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Who are that guys?
Saw this in 77
Red light Green light don't say no She says stop baby Go Go Go....Ah, Pauly, thats not Makin Love. There's a different word for that.
Just one word: SENSATIONAL
Maaaannnn..the power and energy they had😲😲😲😲😲😲
Standing on top of the world...
Очень хорошо! СЛУШАЕМ, ну так нравится...Да, имидж, такого ни у кого не было. СУПЕР, их УБОЙНЫЙ альбом!
One of first concerts! I also saw the Psyco Circus show there (Capital Centre). Terrible location and building but fond memories!
Saw this tour front row Madison Square Garden. Amazing.
At their peak! KISS 77'-78' forever! I used to air-guitar to this album back when I was a kid. Lol!
I was at the 1st night of the Fourm shows in Los Angeles 16 rows back on the floor I will never forget it. AWESOME. 1977 was a great year and Lynyrd Skynyrd the next day in Anaheim.
🎅👍👍👍
This sounds awesome in my car ♥️ my amp even loves it
Amazing band. Top of their game!! Epic showmen.
I thoroughly enjoyed this!! Thank you for posting.
Love the jazz drum solo😊😊😊
ACE FREHLEY!!!!!!!!
Love you guys first 3 albums blew my mind
No Ace = No Kiss. Period ❤
Very enjoyable watch, thanks for sharing
Shades of that movie " Detroit Rock City" , I would've cut something off to have seen them live back then. Let's just say for times sake, I couldn't. but old enough to miss everything cool .
Great video. Not what i thought it was going to be. 🤘
Best kiss album ever real raw .
Raw? lol Overdubbed and sounds like crap. ALIVE! is much better to listen to.
@@BubblesBubbles which also heavily edited and overdubbed.
@@michaellau3654 I know, but it sounds more ‘live’.
No worries.
I was at the show the night before with AC/DC opening. Funny how Paul screams LARGO! Largo was only a tiny town. Capital Centre covered the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area. LARRRGO :D
Back in days before backing tracks for their vocals.
Yeah, they are now at their 70s... and just do it for the name "money", still legends.
Kiss you rock better than any band
8 years old..my first record
Me too. Bought it with my grandfather.
Me too.
Mine too. I was 7. Remember it vividly
Kiss 😎🤘 I love it....my first Album 6 years old. ...I love it sooooo 😎
I guess it’s good that Ace was there to play guitar. Paul was too busy pointing everywhere.
Luckily I saw one of their shows before Covid...it was great!
This is awesome, as Kiss fan from the 70s This is great. Thanks
First concert ever I think they had either I think it was Nugent or Bob Segar who opened. I bought this show on VHS tape in the 90s sick dude I think charged me 20.00. the live show ticket I think was 10.50......lmfao
I THINK THIS ALBUM WAS ALSO NOT RECORDED ALL LIVE, BECAUSE? BECAUSE LISTEN TO PAUL'S VOICE, IT IS NEVER HEARD FATIGUED, NOR AWAY FROM THE MICROPHONE AS IS NORMALLY HID IN CONCERTS. IN ADDITION TO THE FACT THAT THE CRIES OF THE PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS HEARD THE SAME, PUT A LOT OF ATTENTION ON THAT. WHEN THEY SING NO ONE IS FATIGUED OR THEY MOVE AWAY FROM THE MICROPHONE AS IN NORMAL CONCERTS, IN ADDITION, EVERYTHING IS HEARD VERY PREFECT. I DOUBT IT WAS RECORDED LIVE...
No one commenting on Randy Rhoads performing Larger than Life!
Christmas ‘78...Alive II was under my Christmas tree. What about you?
Yup!
Yes and my first 8 track!
I had Alive II the minute it came out
...I knew the reply’s would come in. KISS were HUGE by ‘78.
The tattoos were cool...the exploding stage inside cover pic...Something else to listen besides Alive!
does anyone else go in circles. My First fav was Peter, then many years later Gene. and now totally Ace.
Yes cycles all the time...but PAUL is my #1
Yep, when it finally came down to it, we all realized who the real musician with integrety in the band was.
Had Alive II since I was 5 like a lot of us "older" fans. I do enjoy the polished official release best. I doesn't bother me that it's not 100% live and has studio overdubs, fixes, etc.
Say what you want about Ace but the guy nails his solos note for note every time without fail.
Lol
You wouldn’t say that if you saw some of the live shows I’ve gotten over the years. The guy could get sloppy with the best of ‘em. He’s never been a technically precise player.
@@markpr73 come on Kiss was never about the music
@GIL Favor sorry buddy , KISS ARMY since 76 , just not delusional bout what they were and still are about, wasn't a slam at em , switch meds ,learn a better burn kid . or maybe try life out of your parents basements
What a stupid statement.
A good job of putting the concert footage together
Cool I just wish there had been a clip of KISS doing Anyway You Want It. But nice work non the less. . .
Maybe from the kruise. That would sure be a rare find.
ACE!!!
The BEST LIVE2(KISS ALIVE 1&2&3
After hearing this, you can easily understand why their "Live Albums" were OVERDUBBED!!..
What are you talking about? This sounds raw and awesome. Much better than the over produced official Alive II
