Basically the reason why everyone was so excited for it is because the studio produces animes with the best quality, namely Demon Slayer and Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works. (There are some more, but these 2 are their most well known animes)

I've chosen to look at character leaks exclusively, because tbh, there isn't really any reason not to once they've show the drip marketing. It's exclusively beneficial to have an idea of if I want a character or not well before they come out so I can pre-farm and prepare a build for them if the mats are available. That being said I love seeing people get to genuinely react to them.

Oh they will. I was in a different livestream watch party and like half the chat kept talking about how much they hate the rewards. Admittedly it calmed down a little after the anime and concert reveals but still existed.
20 wishes is still a stingy reward. A gacha's anniversary is a major event and they still refuse to give a meaningful amount of wishes. All the new content is great and all, but it does very little to help people, especially new players, to get what they want in-game.

Bran reaction when Hoyoverse x Ufotable collaboration are so amusing to watch. From my speculation, the animation would tell the short journey of Aether and Lumine, 500 years before main story of the game. The Main Character of the GI animation should be Aether, since Lumine and Enjou narrating Aether journey at Teyvat. The Battle Pass animation also tells about young boy prince search about his sister, and this is very related with Aether and Lumine circumstances.

Off field hydro infusion for Candace is HUGE. it really doesn’t matter how good the rest of her kit is, that’s gonna be REALLY useful in a lot of team comps.
Candace's elemental skill is the same as Beidou and Yunjin's, it's a counter attack type. Her burst aside from applying hydro infusion to melee teammates, actually benefits from a quick-swap team comp because every time you switch character it creates a hydro explosion. Cyno is basically the electro quicken version of Tighnari where in you want to scale as much EM as you can on him because not only does he buff his own EM, he also has passives that increase his damage based on EM. His main playstyle is actually the opposite of Tighnari's, He can stay in his burst for a maximum duration of 18seconds with a cooldown of 20seconds meaning he only has 2sec downtime on his burst. Nilou's skill needs a bit more explaining. Once cast you she gains "buff" that has 4 stacks, 1st stack immediately on cast, then you get 3 stacks when you either do normal attack or press E again, 2nd and 3rd stacks don't matter, but the 4th stack then changes depending on if you do normal attack or E. If you use normal attack, she gains a new buff that grants hydro infusion and a large AOE sword wave every 3rd hit of her NA combo. If you use E, she creates a ring that constantly applies hydro and persists even if you switch characters. This lets you switch her playstyle to either on-field DPS or off-field hydro applicator. She also has a unique passive that if your team is only hydro and dendro, then she creates "bountiful cores" when you do a bloom reaction, and these explode almost immediately instead of after 6 seconds with a larger AOE, and if you get hit by dendro damage (for example self-damage from cores exploding) you get an EM buff.
Honestly the long project anime is the best gift they could give to us for anniv reward I hope its will be pre-quel before our journey in teyvat, like how it begin before all

My soul left my body when I saw Venti and Albedo back to back :') Both evaded me for the last 1.5 years. All I have to do is spread my 70 rolls on two versions, I guess, because 3.2 will probably also have someone cool.
23:07 skill is an electro dash normally. but in burst mode, it's a ground pound AND it extends his burst by a few seconds. With one of his passive or something he gets this purple eye effect on screen periodically. if you do the slam during this period it unleashes the electro waves like when he was slapping the robot. razors difference is that he's still technically physical. he just deals some extra electro and goes faster cause of his wolf avatar. which leads to shenanigans with being able to infuse him with other effects offhand with a support to have one man reactions... at the cost of not being physical anymore. Cyno is maximum electro. much like xiao goes maximum anemo when he's in burst, or itto goes maximum geo.

Off field hydro infusion for Candace is HUGE. it really doesn’t matter how good the rest of her kit is, that’s gonna be REALLY useful in a lot of team comps.

Candace's elemental skill is the same as Beidou and Yunjin's, it's a counter attack type. Her burst aside from applying hydro infusion to melee teammates, actually benefits from a quick-swap team comp because every time you switch character it creates a hydro explosion.
Cyno is basically the electro quicken version of Tighnari where in you want to scale as much EM as you can on him because not only does he buff his own EM, he also has passives that increase his damage based on EM. His main playstyle is actually the opposite of Tighnari's, He can stay in his burst for a maximum duration of 18seconds with a cooldown of 20seconds meaning he only has 2sec downtime on his burst.
Nilou's skill needs a bit more explaining. Once cast you she gains "buff" that has 4 stacks, 1st stack immediately on cast, then you get 3 stacks when you either do normal attack or press E again, 2nd and 3rd stacks don't matter, but the 4th stack then changes depending on if you do normal attack or E. If you use normal attack, she gains a new buff that grants hydro infusion and a large AOE sword wave every 3rd hit of her NA combo. If you use E, she creates a ring that constantly applies hydro and persists even if you switch characters. This lets you switch her playstyle to either on-field DPS or off-field hydro applicator. She also has a unique passive that if your team is only hydro and dendro, then she creates "bountiful cores" when you do a bloom reaction, and these explode almost immediately instead of after 6 seconds with a larger AOE, and if you get hit by dendro damage (for example self-damage from cores exploding) you get an EM buff.

23:07 skill is an electro dash normally. but in burst mode, it's a ground pound AND it extends his burst by a few seconds. With one of his passive or something he gets this purple eye effect on screen periodically. if you do the slam during this period it unleashes the electro waves like when he was slapping the robot.
razors difference is that he's still technically physical. he just deals some extra electro and goes faster cause of his wolf avatar. which leads to shenanigans with being able to infuse him with other effects offhand with a support to have one man reactions... at the cost of not being physical anymore.
Cyno is maximum electro. much like xiao goes maximum anemo when he's in burst, or itto goes maximum geo.
