I'd assume that we would have to have some sort of encounter with his family again or with Pulcinella, since it would be really unfitting to have his second story quest be in Fontaine.

I'm honestly glad we get one Fontainian for free. If the Pneuma/Ousia mechanic has a significant effect in combat against Meka enemies, there's a good chance it'll show up in the Abyss as well.

I have been saving for Fontaine ever since 1.2 bassically (after I got Ganyu) I have been only wishing for characters I really really wanted. (Kokomi, Alhaitham, Yoimiya - examples) and I managed to save 107k primogems as a F2P and being a bow enthusiast I am gonna get ruined during Lyney's and Yelan's weapon banner. :') (I don't have Aqua Simulacra and never wished on weapon banner) I am really excited it's finally here tho!!
ngl i'd love to watch a 2 hour video in which bran goes through the entire stream again and picks out interesting parts to analyse them more while also looking at the new version preview page (bc that shows the artifact effects for example). i just love watching him discover things on his own, he exudes so much joy!

there are few good innovation in 4.0 patch - 1. beautiful underwater area and diving/swimming underwater without oxygen needed, but they could explain it by giving us some tool to breath freely underwater but they just dont give oxygen bar, like all characters are aqua-man and can breath underwater (fuck logic but good thing is that we dont need to climb or looking for spider-man hooking points), 2. layered map (finally they gave us, its was so long flustrating exploring caves), 3. new weapons in battlepass,

So, I love Fontaine already, but what is really worrying me is that I don't know if I can even play on mobile in the future. Not only the amount of storage it will need, but also the underwater movement or let alone all the structures there will probably cause major problems. And since I have no other device as an option, this would really upset me. If they want it to be possible for players to continue playing in on mobile without needing to spend an enormous amount of money to buy a phone that you can do so with, which not everyone will even be able to do, Hoyo will need to find a solution in the near future. 42:36 Btw it's funny how that place just got named poisson, wiich is "fish" in french.🐟😂
One thing i noticed is that they showed lynette getting in the water cube and even talked about them in the program but they aren't even there in 4.0 they are outside the actual limits of the map
I'm only 26 minutes in, but I just noticed that one location is Erinnyes; that is suspiciously close to the name of an AD&D devil type, the Erinyes. Looking further, Erinyes are apparently based on the Furies of Greek mythology, lesser goddesses of retribution.

All right. One big surprise - I was expecting something kind of stupid regarding Fontaine's energy problem, but they really went off the deep end diving to find a voodoo shark. And there have been loads of hints that Focalors isn't really in a good situation, and a few that she'd managed to find a productive use for the Fatui, but I wasn't expecting she'd be calling on the Harbingers to help demolish a court. (Not sure I'm correctly reading the remixing job on that footage, but hopefully.)
You stopped at the exact tune I did. It's in one track of Devantaka mountain in Sumeru, it sounds VERY similar, it can't be a coincidence, because it's too distinctive from everything else Genshin has so far.

there wasn't any English subtitles on the RUclips live and then I had to leave for work, so this is my first chance to watch the 4.0 live
So, I love Fontaine already, but what is really worrying me is that I don't know if I can even play on mobile in the future. Not only the amount of storage it will need, but also the underwater movement or let alone all the structures there will probably cause major problems. And since I have no other device as an option, this would really upset me. If they want it to be possible for players to continue playing in on mobile without needing to spend an enormous amount of money to buy a phone that you can do so with, which not everyone will even be able to do, Hoyo will need to find a solution in the near future.

I'm only 26 minutes in, but I just noticed that one location is Erinnyes; that is suspiciously close to the name of an AD&D devil type, the Erinyes. Looking further, Erinyes are apparently based on the Furies of Greek mythology, lesser goddesses of retribution.

All right. One big surprise - I was expecting something kind of stupid regarding Fontaine's energy problem, but they really went off the deep end diving to find a voodoo shark. And there have been loads of hints that Focalors isn't really in a good situation, and a few that she'd managed to find a productive use for the Fatui, but I wasn't expecting she'd be calling on the Harbingers to help demolish a court. (Not sure I'm correctly reading the remixing job on that footage, but hopefully.)
