This may be an unpopular opinion but if TLR factory drivers are going to be running stadium truck TLR needs to buck up and make a new truck. We shouldnt have to buy a $300 kit then add $300 more in stuff to have a current truck. Either make a new kit or discontinue truck like keeps getting rumored

I’ve had my truck converted with the vision stuff for a year now and it’s by far my favorite car to drive.
I just tried out the softer side rails recently and the truck became glued to the track, they’re worth a try for sure!
Also it broke steering spindles constantly so I put 22x-4 caster blocks and spindles with a few slight modifications and dialed now!

Build a team associated T6.4 instead. Then you will never need to wonder if you can get parts and also won't have to do any Frankenstein mods to make it run right. The TLR pro drivers arguably dont even drive TLR cars. They have team associated parts on them and a plethera of other brands parts on their cars to get them to be able to compete with team associateds previous generation of vehicles. And this is coming from a TLR fan that is now shelving the TLR because of the lack of factory parts. Its sad.

I've been moving away from TLR myself as well, though I went with Schumacher. Mainly because Schumacher cars are easy to set up for different surfaces and don't really require you to buy a separate kit for dirt than what you would buy for carpet. Yes, I know Schumacher doesn't have that good of parts support in the US, but I don't care. Religiously following the "only buy what's locally supported" advice as though it's a law is how we got into the whole "we only carry Traxxas and Arrma" situation with many LHSs in the first place.
Besides, "available online" is far better than "effectively non-existent" like with the TLR stuff.

Ryan, this was an uplifting video for me. I love your passion, attention to detail, and the precision that you appear to apply to every aspect of your racing, wrenching, editing, and lifestyle. The positive energy you project and foster in regards to friendly competition makes me want to race again for the first time since high school ('93). I'm an AE guy but adore some of the Losi branded basher products I have in my collection, and this quasi-retro full comp ready homebuilt project is absolutely stunning. I don't know how I wasn't subbed before, but I won't miss another vid. I'm so glad you are in a place of recovering from the 'bumps in the road (track!)' that we all encounter in life to be well enough to continue giving so much of yourself on this platform. No pressure brother, but keep it up!
The only request I could have (particularly in regards to your upcoming 'secret' AE 4wd project) would be If you are aware of any options to make that and other competition models safe to run on my vintage all natural sandy loose loamy bermed backyard track, mostly as it relates to enclosing the spur gear. Open spurs have kept me from updating beyond the B5M platform (which fortunately has had a boost in upgrade and replacement parts availability due to the popularity of drag racing) and I would be over the moon to drive a modern 4wd AE buggy if I knew I didn't have to listen to the spur deteriorate with every run. Maybe fellow viewers have encountered the same issue and can provide insight based on their own experience, so here is a plea to any like minded 'performance based bashers' who can save Ryan the time of responding so he can focus on winning friends at the racetrack and providing polished, professional quality videos for us all to enjoy. Many thanks Ryan, and viewers from around the world!

Hey Ryan! Alex Via here. I just pickedup a used L1R and new B7. Shaft wheelers are too samey so I switched it up. Last weekend I threw it down with AE shocks off my 74.2 but an other wise carpet setup and it was money! I might run it this weekend, idk we'll see. But this video makes me want to rebuild my T6.2. Staduim was my first class I ever raced so its always got a soft spot in my heart for sure. Next time I go down to FL I'll DM you and Dustin for sure!

Its refreshing to hear you speak a little more candidly about the TLR parts situation now that you're not in any sort of relationship with them that might affect your video content. Also good to see you branching to new stuff like dirt oval and AE cars.
I would love to see that comparison video between the rear motor and mid motor 22 buggies you promised a while back when you did that video about buying used cars. Any plans to make that video? I always suspected TLR quashed it as they didn't want any comparisons to cars they don't currently make.

I recently switched to AE for the very reason that you said not to build the truck. I had built that truck (built mine from a 4.0 truck so it was more truck than buggy), a 5.0 truck and it was a world beater on carpet…then in practice I got hit in midair going over a double and my truck hit the outside cinder block barrier and broke an arm and bent a turnbuckle. Not one replacement part on the wall and didn’t have any in my stash. Equivalent AE parts were readily available. Bought the AE truck that night. Haven’t looked back.

The glue takes away traction when the tire folds over! Very helpful in high bite tracks

What is Losi up to? They got rid of their sct trucks, even the 2wd basher, I want to know when the Tenacity TT is going away.
I love SCT and would buy a 10 SCTE, Tekno is good, I just don't want what everyone else is running.

All the people talking trash about Losi because they aren’t supporting a class that is dying or dead in nearly all places? You all still looking for Betamax tapes and laser discs as well? 😂

I’ve been harassing Losi for years now. They don’t listen. What about a 4wd Stadium Truck?
