This may be an unpopular opinion but if TLR factory drivers are going to be running stadium truck TLR needs to buck up and make a new truck. We shouldnt have to buy a $300 kit then add $300 more in stuff to have a current truck. Either make a new kit or discontinue truck like keeps getting rumored
I’ve had my truck converted with the vision stuff for a year now and it’s by far my favorite car to drive. I just tried out the softer side rails recently and the truck became glued to the track, they’re worth a try for sure! Also it broke steering spindles constantly so I put 22x-4 caster blocks and spindles with a few slight modifications and dialed now!
You inspired me to get back into RC and also start racing. Never raced before when I was a kid. You also inspired me to actually try to do decent paint jobs. Thank you Ryan. My midlife crisis could have been so much worse than RC cars lol
Build a team associated T6.4 instead. Then you will never need to wonder if you can get parts and also won't have to do any Frankenstein mods to make it run right. The TLR pro drivers arguably dont even drive TLR cars. They have team associated parts on them and a plethera of other brands parts on their cars to get them to be able to compete with team associateds previous generation of vehicles. And this is coming from a TLR fan that is now shelving the TLR because of the lack of factory parts. Its sad.
@@preyingmathis2517 I've been moving away from TLR myself as well, though I went with Schumacher. Mainly because Schumacher cars are easy to set up for different surfaces and don't really require you to buy a separate kit for dirt than what you would buy for carpet. Yes, I know Schumacher doesn't have that good of parts support in the US, but I don't care. Religiously following the "only buy what's locally supported" advice as though it's a law is how we got into the whole "we only carry Traxxas and Arrma" situation with many LHSs in the first place. Besides, "available online" is far better than "effectively non-existent" like with the TLR stuff.
