Back in the day, this gun alone proved you didn't need to be good at the game, you just needed to fire more bullets than the enemy. Chuck on Rapid Fire with Extended Mags/Fast Mag, you were almost unstoppable.

I would use this class set but drop the Laser to have the Ext. Clip, Long Barrel, and FMJ. Because the Skorpion EVO already has excellent hip-fire with or without the attachment, I could afford to be reckless for more power.
I found great results equipping quick draw, long barrel, and rapid fire. Usually paired with the 93r. Fast hands, lightweight, and scavenger are a must. Flash bangs and tomahawk for throwables
I love the Skorpion simply because I always overcompensate for recoil on other guns. So as long as I keep the same compensation, I can fire this thing like a laser beam. Burst firing also helps.
Rapid fire, extended mags, scavenger, lightweight, extreme conditioning, kap40 extended, toughness= destruction Rapid fire burns through ammo but scavenger and extended/fast mags help counter it. Why not buff its main strength in rate of fire?

Certain weapons have the shell casings eject on the right side. In other words when you shoot one of these from your left the hot shell casings hit you in the face.
there's 2 problems with this class i know you like "Extended clip" but.. if you run out of bullets you left wide open for a kill because of the slow reload animation which is a little slow... which is why i use "Fast Mags" instead of "Extended clip" for a quick reload and get right back into the action and sure if you have secondary pistol you can use it in case your primary runs out but... what if a enemy caught you during a weapon swap animation? it only takes 1 second for them to ADS and kill you without you fighting back.. which is way "Fast hands" solves that problem weapon swaps immediately in case of a ambush by a enemy
Actually, the Vector is quite effective with select fire, since the the two-round burst helps with recoil management at close range (and also increases the rate of fire). Also, the MSMC and PDW are effective with select fire, as both weapons can kill in three shots up close, giving the potential for a one-burst kill smg.

Objectively it's probably not a good fit. The SMR's key strength is its high damage so you don't want to do anything to hinder that. Plus if you're pulling the trigger near to the fire rate cap the recoil can be a little awkward to deal with, and the suppressor would make that slightly worse.

I've been enjoying this gun quite well, my attachments on it are: extended mag(HIGHLY RECOMMENDED), suppressor, and rapid fire. Very good gun for search, using it on dom or tdm isn't much of a good idea unless you have scavenger. The gun shoots fast but when you put rapid fire on it.... it cuts people in half whilst sounding like an animal of a gun.
Avoid the target finder. Go for the red dot. When you flank an opponent, which is often especially with SMG's, go for head shots and resist the urge to simply spray them down. With weapons with a lot of kick, aim for the upper chest when taking them head on and the kick will send the last few rounds to the enemy's head.
He does a good job of noting attachments that do notably different things to particular weapons. Weapons in Black Ops didn't have 16 attachments each either.

I use long barrel fast mag and fmj if your recoil control and tracking are on point you can push this gun to the limit in terms of range. For my perks I have lightweight toughness extreme con/tac mask. I use this class in SnD and it works really good for me.
The Skorpion EVO is the exact opposite of the one in Black ops 1. It's damage is low compared to the 2 hit kills from Black ops 1's Skorpion. Also it has increased recoil
He's also doing attachment guide videos and covering all their benefits and detriments in those. He found it rather dull having to say the same thing over and over in the Blops 1 vids when it came to the attachments, since they generally do the same thing no matter what weapon they're attached to. By doing dedicated vids for each attachment, he can focus his weapon vids and cover only the attachments needed for the build or offer unique benefits to a specific weapon.
Something that everyone should try is the m27 with forgrip and a hybrid optic Hybrid optic gives you a close and long range optic and the forgrip gives you litterally 0 recoil
Try using Rapid Fire, Extended Clip/Fast Mags, Laser Sight/Long Barrel It is the best setup you can try if you want to use Rapid Fire The rest of the setup's options are perfect as XA thought them, but if you use Fast Mags you can consider giving up your secondary and your tactical/lethal equipment to swap them with Perk 3 Greed and Extreme Conditioning, allowing you to get faster in the Skorpion's best effective range Altough, the best and most balanced setup remains XA's one HAVE FUN, YOU WILL
I would remove the Tactical and give the Secondary any attachment I want, usually Dual Wield, simply because it looks badass. At least it's also useful as well.

extended clip or fast mags I just switch, and I think quickdraw is more useful and I run toughness not scavenger because I can just pick up a new gun

i run fast mags, laser sight, grip. for your perks lightweight, scavenger, dexterity. secondary: any pistol with fast mags or laser sight.
but it does help your recoil a little bit better than no grip at all. it makes the skorpion a bit easier to use, since it has high recoil.
i can notice the difference i think its more than 1% decrease in recoil for the skorpion.

Perk 1: lightweight

I have my scorpion with Suppressor, EOTech, and Fast Mags. It is great for medium and close range engagements.
I like the EVO with Grip, Long Barrel and FMJ or Extended Mags. Deadly combination for my gaming style.
