Tada Hiroshi Shihan, 9th dan, is one of the last students of Ueshiba Morihei (the founder of Aikido) still teaching Aikido at several dojos in Tokyo. 92 years of age, he dedicated his entire life to studying, developing, and spreading Aikido. He's particularly known for system breathing and meditative exercises he developed.

I was blessed to have trained under Tada sensei from 2004-2011. What a joy to see him still doing what he loves at 90+ yrs old; he is a treasure.

I'm a student at the dojo of his former student Alessandro Peduzzi, the second black belt of Aikido in Italy. He often told us anedocts about his relation with Tada Sensei. I was so curios that I went for three summers to La Spezia to practice directly with Tada Sensei. I will be grateful forever to Sandro Sensei and Hiroshi Sensei for they dedication to the true teaching of this beautiful discipline. Both of you have changed my life for better. Thank you from the deep of my heart.

A 92 anni è fantastico, ammirevole. A 66 io non valgo la metà, fisicamente. Però questo tipo di dimostrazione, molto "collaborativa", non mi lascia comprendere la reale utilità dell'Aikido dal punto di vista della difesa personale. Forse non è questo il suo scopo primario, però, dopo 40 anni spesi studiando karate, jujutsu, yoseikan non riesco a percepire altro che la grazia dell'aikido.
