After decades of training there is no improvement in his form or technique. Nor does he show great feeling or sensitivity. Go back watch the founder move and you will see that what you witness here is but a shadow of what Aikido once was.

      You're missing the point, entirely.
Change in techniques is not his role.
The founder was the founder. His heirs have a different Mission.
Conservation of the original forms is the mission.
That would be obvious for any koryu guy... But modern Budo people have a very narrow uneducated vision of Budo.
And yes, there's improvement. You only see the form. When you'll be advanced enough to see the essence of it, you'll be able to appreciate what changed.

he wants no change in the basic form cuz he wana keep preserving the conventional aikido throughout his family generation. Thats why he might have some conflict with other shihan cuz their styles have become so much different. For improvement, u can only know if ur his uke

There is more diversity within the Aikikai than in any other group. Including a significant number of high ranked student of Saito sensei who joint the Aikikai after he passed away.
Diversity of techniques is a basic and unique characteristic of the organization.

He is not just showing a basic form but the bases of the form. All of the aikikai diversity based on these forms with different interpretations.

      Not entirely.
At the Hombu Dojo, certainly yes.
But Aikikai is far bigger than the Hombu Dojo.
Many Shihan studied under O'sensei students, who had their own interpretation. Half of Saito sensei's students are also Aikikai members now.
