  • I’ve had this pack, going on 4 years and it has been very good to me. I also go over the “Hidden Pockets” on this pack that I don’t see many people talk about. Also some tips and tricks for using this pack for ground hunting.

Great review man. I switched to Badlands years ago and I have absolutely never had a single stich bust or ever been disappointed with their products. I personally love the patterns too. I am actually buying this pack and I am going to mod it to hold my saddle hunting platform, I think it will be perfect for that. I have one of their treestand packs and while I love it, it is not ideal for carrying my platform. I didn't even know it had a hydration pouch lmao, nice review :P

I have the Super Day Pack for ground and shooting house hunting. I just ordered the Monster Fanny Pack for treestand hunting. I'm 61 and the Day Pack is too big and heavy to pull up in a tree and secure.
    Great review.

Good info! Thanks for sharing. I'm thinking or getting a new pack and this video has given me more to look at! New to the channel so looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Shout out from Cinnamon Bear Outdoors!!!

cinnamon bear outdoors thanks for watching! It’s a great pack with a great warranty to back it. This is my go to for all ground hunting and scouting situations. I use a smaller badlands pack when I’m treestand hunting.

Great review. Question. The adjustment ability of the shoulder straps could you run this backwards where the pack was on your stomach? Would it be comfortable

You could probably make it work? But idk if that would be comfortable.

    There isn’t a water bottle pocket/holder?

Thats a nice pack! Good review, I might just buy one of these. I need to down size my pack for mobile hunting. Do you wear this with your stand on your back or does it get in the way??

I have a different badlands pack I use when I’m hunting out of my stand. This one does work while in a treestand but that is probably its one downside. It is a bit clunky trying to stash it once you’re up in the stand.

Great review. Living here in CT to. (land of the liberals unfortunately). Looking to buy a Monster fanny pack for this bow season. Lots of places out of stock, but I think Badlands has them available directly from them. Where did you get yours?

New to hunting and wondering if I should use a fanny pack like this. My question is once you bag your animal, how do you carry it out with only the fanny pack? Thanks

Foster Heninger I hunt whitetails. 99% of the time I drag them out of the woods using a rope, deer cart, or just my bare hands.

This pack is great. It distributes weight evenly over your hips, and a little on your shoulders. Very comfortable and fits a lot. If you’re hunting deer this would be a great option

How big is this thing? Is it too big for a tree stand?

    • @undertoeoutdoors8317

I have used it in a treestand. And will still do so. I wouldn’t say it’s the most convenient pack out of a tree. But it works. Especially if you bring a lot of gear. Or if you need to shed layers once it warms up midday, it’s great for that. You can wrap the waste belt around the tree and snap the buckle as long as the tree is t too big

UNDERTOE OUTDOORS I like it but think I am trying to find something small I can keep a few items in and still be able to shoot my bow.
I have a hss hand muff but it’s way too hot for that early season. I usually don’t ever reach in my pack for anything because I think I’m making too much movement.
I have a fanny pack by alp z or whoever that turns into a bigger back from the lid but it wound up being kind of a fail. Makes the lid heavy and awkward and it falls down.

I have a badlands pursuit pack that is smaller. It’s a backpack but very lightweight and comfortable. I normally use that with my treestand setup.
