The Vertx SOCP is a perfect size for me. I really like the fold down phone option. Thanks for showing options i haven't considered before. I carry a 5.11 backpack everyday. Something a bit smaller would work for lighter days.

No, no. "Bum-bags." Fanny-packs are a dirty word. No one wants to be seen with those ugly, unstylish things. 😉
Really enjoyed the video. A nice selection. Ironically after waiting for a month and a half, I just got my custom-made Bum-bag from the Ukraine. (Fellow Ukrainian I've done business with before on Etsy.) This one is for regular EDC use. But he has a diamond-shaped minimalist bum-bag designed to securely hold a handgun for legal concealed carry. Got one of those too.

I recommend Maxpedition Proteus, kind of more sling bag if you add strap, can be used as fanny pack. Good size, can be worn up front or back, you can move it where you need. I traveled through Vietnam with it, really good cos you can move it around your body and doesnt get too sweaty. Sometimes I use it for work if I need small tools with me, or for gun range. Can fit few boxes of ammo, hang outside ears and eyes, put inside marker and other stuff, pretty cool little bag
