My personal favorite from this video has to be the metrorunner. It has the right amount of space to hold a decent first aid kit. Not only that, but if I had one of these i could just take a couple extra knives with me instead of being indecisive about what I should take with me. Lol! Great video as always! Good luck everyone!
Lol good to be able to have a few different knives on hand, always a great idea! Yeah Greenroom 136 makes some great stuff. Which knife brand do you like for everyday carry?
@@UrbanSurvivor my favorite edc pocket knife lately has been my Benchmade Adamas. I typically have at least a couple of balisongs (butterfly knives) on me as well. The first aid kit would be for me when I'm flipping those and trying new tricks! Lol
@@UrbanSurvivor it's amazing! Beefy enough for hard use and still fits comfortably in the pocket. Not to mention the amazing steel that they use on it.

The Vertx SOCP is a perfect size for me. I really like the fold down phone option. Thanks for showing options i haven't considered before. I carry a 5.11 backpack everyday. Something a bit smaller would work for lighter days.
I recommend Maxpedition Proteus, kind of more sling bag if you add strap, can be used as fanny pack. Good size, can be worn up front or back, you can move it where you need. I traveled through Vietnam with it, really good cos you can move it around your body and doesnt get too sweaty. Sometimes I use it for work if I need small tools with me, or for gun range. Can fit few boxes of ammo, hang outside ears and eyes, put inside marker and other stuff, pretty cool little bag
Since I became wheel chair bound my carry options have changed. I think one of these bags would work well. I like the small size and large pulls of the BANDO BAG.
I really like that Vertx. I would probably use the “phone holder” as a place to mount something relatively stiff to be able to write things down. That way I don’t need to find a flat surface. But that’s just me.
I tried a BUNCH of these and I laded on the Bando Bag as my fave. I posted a review and loadout video on it recently too. Such a good bag! Thanks for your video!
I like that Nomadic Research. One thing that might be helpful to see are fully packed views from the side (back, chest and hip). Helps illustrate bulk or lack thereof. Just a suggestion, great videos!
My favorite bag out of all of these is the Nomadic Research EDC pack. Good size and has 3 separate compartments to organize all my stuff. I also prefer to war it as a Fanny pack vs a sling bag. More comfortable as a Fanny pack to me
No, no. "Bum-bags." Fanny-packs are a dirty word. No one wants to be seen with those ugly, unstylish things. 😉 Really enjoyed the video. A nice selection. Ironically after waiting for a month and a half, I just got my custom-made Bum-bag from the Ukraine. (Fellow Ukrainian I've done business with before on Etsy.) This one is for regular EDC use. But he has a diamond-shaped minimalist bum-bag designed to securely hold a handgun for legal concealed carry. Got one of those too.
Thank you for sharing all of these, I have only heard of the Greenroom 136 bag before. Currently I have been using a Vanquest Large Dendrite as a sling pack. It's 4 liters, and I like it's compartment options. Definitely will favorite this vid for future reference, thank you. BTW off topic if you suggest a great 21700 battery flashlight I would greatly appreciate!
@@UrbanSurvivor Wow, didn't think about all of these categories. It will be mostly for EDC, but being able to flex into some tactical capability would be good as well. Thank you for your time.
Great review video. I am more of a sling bag guy, grew up during the fanny pack days (yes I am kinda old, lol). Fanny packs don't work well when riding a motorcycle. I would have to pick the Errant Sling. That bag is just big enough for many different uses for me, and small enough to not be a piece of luggage, lol. Thank you for the opportunity!!!
I Recently came across your channel but I enjoy your descriptions and reviews, they are direct and straight to the point. Keep it up ! Throwing my hat in the ring for the Vertex SOCP !
Paladin 33 is the W O R S T to deal with. I recently ordered the pack you reviewed BECAUSE of this video (well done) however, now I am Regretting this purchase. Paladin 33's communication is Non-existent...I have no idea if they are sending me the pack or what, but they had No Problems taking $140 from my bank account! Buyer Beware!
Great choice! I was on the fence about including it due to how much larger it is than the other bags but its a great choice as a practical commuter bag.
I wouldn’t do it but one RUclipsr mentioned a bag that he liked and that you could add some “California pins” to disguise the bag and no one would be the wiser.
I’m always carrying a bunch of stuff and end up looking like a turtle in my adidas bag so there’s no doubt the errant sling is my favorite, the color is nice as well dark blue blend in really well in most low light environments
Yeah this is a great option for bulkier edc setups. If I commuted with a laptop this would be the option i'd choose for sure. Thanks for watching and good luck.
Thanks for the video and the giveaway offer. My favorite is the Metrorunner. I'd attach a water bottle holder to that webbing and be set! I'd also see about maybe adding first aid gear in a pouch to that Velcro, but that might be a bit much. Thanks again. [Note: id mistakenly first put this as a reply to another comment, instead of its own comment. I've deleted that reply! ]
Thats a great choice! I'm suprised they are not getting more love in the comments. They make some awesome gear and you do get a lot of storage capacity with the Metrorunner. Thank you for watching and you are entered into the giveaway.
CodeOfBell Xpod II cuz i love lots of separate storage compartments to help organize edc items otherwise. i'd say the final Boundary Supply Errant Sling fore when i edc my laptop
I want the fanny pack that Dywane the Rock Johnson used 😂 Jokes aside, the Eberlestock caught my attention. Its a fanny pack that holds well enough for its price so im interested in it. Also, the camo design looks slick too. I only have 2 fanny packs because im a school bag kind of person but i always go for a fanny pack when doing some leisurely activities

The Bando Bag seems to be the most practical size and could work for conceal carry.

I've been looking for one. Why are they so big. Looking for one that is smaller. Any smaller ones available and where to get one.
To me fanny packs are most often more practical when they are around 1-2 liters. When they become larger I feel they are better as slings.
