    Looks really good! I wonder if we taste the salt, I will have to try 😊

      Thank you :) If you're concerned about the salt level, I recommend not adding any salt before blending all the other ingredients. Then you can taste the mousse and add a few pinches if salt if you think it needs it :)

    Does it taste tangy ? Or is it hidden ?

    • @gentletummy
      @gentletummy  3 месяца назад +1

      That is an excellent question, thank you for asking :) My recipe uses cottage cheese which has the least amount of tangy flavor. If you use greek yogurt, it will taste much tangier and you'll need to add a little more sweetener to compensate. That is why I prefer using cottage cheese. But both options are delicious!

    I never thought cottage cheese was healthy because of the high content of sodium.

    • @gentletummy
      @gentletummy  3 месяца назад +1

      I've heard that before, too. If you budget the sodium into your daily allowance, then you can enjoy all the other health benefits of cottage cheese. A typical serving of cottage cheese (around 1/2 cup or 113 grams) can contain anywhere from 320mg to 350mg of sodium. This represents roughly 14-15% of the recommended daily intake (RDI) of sodium.
