Steam works well also and there is no residual solvent left. I use a Steam Buggy for the steam. It has a little brush at the end of the wand. Just have plenty of rags or paper towels to soak up the dirt. Good to see you back!
I also recently discovered Krud Kutter and I was blown away with how well it works on grease. I use it to clean engines and other car parts. Way cheaper than the aerosol engine cleaners and I think it works better.

I just purchased the foam can spray from krud kutter yesterday and sprayed my cabinets above my stove where grease has popped on never in almost 18 years it melted right on off and no hard scrubbing at all wipe right on off

I tried spraying directly on my cabinets and it almost immediately ate the finish, possibly because I didn't have the build-up of grease that was coated on the bottom of the cabinets shown in this video. The instructions on the back of the bottle note that this concentrated solution should be diluted--1.5 C to 1 Gallon water for surfaces like cabinets, and even more diluted for reflective surfaces. Even though I'll be repainting, I don't want the fronts of cabinets damaged, so I'm glad I tried this out on a small area first.

Krud Kutter products are rather limited in my opinion. If you want to cut grease, Dawn, straight ammonia or the old school 409 are top choices.
