    I appreciate this review because it is loaded with information and it presents the pros and cons fairly (unlike some reviews that focus on positive spin on the car, or distract with antics of the presenter). Good example...8:32
    Keep up the good work and I look forward to future reviews.

    We bought a top-spec petrol variant a few months ago as a 2nd vehicle and except for a few minor annoyances, it's an excellent car for the price.
    I don't know if I could recommend paying an extra $7K on the hybrid for a minor improvement in fuel economy.

    • @carloszelanda
      @carloszelanda Год назад +10

      It's a major improvement I have to say. I got the hybrid and did 960km with first tank, averaging 5.3l per 100km, quite impressive

    Those 'funny' slots work very well for extra phone storage etc... btw seats are not leather - they're a faux leather. If you feel low to the ground - there's an adjustment button on the drivers seat to raise you up. As for the rubber lining.... it's not there on more current models - so maybe a mirror edge protection cover for transport pre-valet?

    Great review, but I wouldm't say that even the cheapest Corolla cross would compete with it in terms of cost/specification. The Jolion Ultra is the top of line that comes with anything you would want from a good car. The top of line Corolla Cross (comparabel features and tech) is pratically 8k more expensive than the Jolion.

    Nice one, I also did a users review of the Haval Jolion HEV
    ruclips.net/video/227Z6vLJhN0/видео.html
    A couple of things - I actually found the breaking good. It also has one peddle driving as well.
    I also found the steering wheel a little thin, however you get past that eventually.
    Steering column adjustment wasn’t an issue for me
    I’ve found the drive very smooth and controlled. No body roll for me
    I’ve been able to get as low as 5.4/100 with a combo of country driving and city. I’ve done just under 500km in mine.
    One thing I can’t work out however is how the car chooses when to switch to EV. I’ve been able to drive around town in total EV mode 60kmph and under, and then it sometimes turns on when I’m doing 110kmph randomly - I think it has something to do with the power output and if the ICE needs to push you along

    • @Drivecomau
      @Drivecomau  24 дня назад

      Of course... as is pretty clearly visible the whole way through the driving sections of the video. Even if you live in a jurisdiction where a seatbelt isn't required by law, we strongly suggest the use of a seatbelt, worn properly across your chest and low across your hips. Essential for safety in the event of an accident.

    Poor economy, high price, unproven product and support. This is a miss. Oh dear, there are still logos on the seats and way too many badges, subtle it's not. Last time I looked the USB port for the head unit was on the passenger side and the seat heating controls were still configured for LHD on the touch screen. The screens are also angled slightly to the passenger side.
