LOL
Bad boss can ruin a job you really enjoy.
Love it when Dave steals a narcissist's thunder
She’s not the definition of a narcissist
@@thishappycrafter272 go read a dictionary or learn how to read people.
@@joeriveracomedy I’m aware of what a narcissist is and this is not it
@@joeriveracomedy Okay, give me the times when she was acting narcissistic in this call
@@thishappycrafter272 honey, if you had the goods to be the boss at your nursing job, you would be. You wouldn't have called Dave, interrupting him and bloviating about how much better you think you are than your soon to be former superiors otherwise. Good luck at your next failed job.
She wants so much just to unload on these people on her way out.
Every boss has a boss, who is maybe a better person. Tell them, for future employees may be saved.
What an attitude. I would never ever want to work for this Ramsey guy.
Interesting asking Dave this, because I've heard more than a couple of reports of Ramsey Solutions being described as a toxic workplace
You can’t make everyone happy.
who was doing this description, the folks who were a bad fit?
I’ve heard that too
@@makeitpay8241 due to abuse apparently
@@thishappycrafter272 You will hear that about any large employer.
I wonder how many of us human beings are leaders with good behavior and not knowing it?
Never quit a job until you have the next one in hand. Also you never give two weeks notice an employer will never give you two weeks notice when they fire you you leave when you're ready to leave on your terms remember an employer can only verify your length of employment and your wages that you are making once you leave a job they can't say oh yeah they left me hanging because he didn't give me two weeks notice again then player would fire you today without two weeks notice why should you give them two weeks notice that's 1950s thinking
They're not supposed to but they do anyway meaning that they are only supposed to verify the length of employment but they also add a little extra sometimes if they don't like the fact that you're leaving.
You always give two weeks!
What makes you think an employer can only verify length of employment and wages? That might be policy at some companies but they can do whatever they want including disclosing anything about you and your performance that they want.
They can’t talk negatively about you! But they can word it in away that turn jobs away!
@@reese85 Wrong. They can't legally lie about you or they could be sued for slander. However if I employed you and fired you for cursing out a customer, for instance, I could, and would say so. Where are you guys getting these ideas?
I gave them a sympathy card that read "so sorry for your loss. I quit"
Leave like Bill Belichick left the Jets: hand your toxic boss a crumpled napkin that says I resign.
Don't expect an alligator to be anything but an alligator. That doesn't define you, that defines them.
I greatly appreciate this!!!!
Currently dealing with this too. Fantastic insight
I personally disagree with not providing feedback when you exit. I'd rather leave a place making it better than it was especially if I have colleagues that are still there. Ignoring the problem doesn't help. I understand what Dave is saying for sure, leave and be professional but shoot, why not add some awareness? Ah well.
They don't care what you think and will not do anything to correct it. pointless waste of time especially when you were doing it all the time you were there.
They prob wouldn’t care, so I wouldn’t bother with leaving feedback
You leave your critiques while at work, not while leaving. If they never cared to listen to you while you were working, they wouldn’t care to listen as you leave. So exit interviews are useless unless you never gave your bosses an interview in the first place, in which case go ahead and say what you gotta say.
@@GrandChessboard BINGO!
@@reese85 Correct! They only do it to see if a lawsuit is on the horizon for them, nothing more.
Move on.. lots of other jobs out there.
Nursing especially.
It happens to the best of us...
How to quit a job. Walk in say I’m Rick James b$&@& slap the boss and walk out
Don’t leave skipping out the front door
Leave in a Limo! Throw the empty bottle of Dom Perigon in the lobby. Yell I know Dave!
They didn’t ask her exactly about the leadership makes her feel the way she does. Is it the executives who own the facility she works at or is it the clinical director or head nurse that she doesn’t like.
It is almost always the immediate supervisor or one step above them. Most workers are too far removed from executive leadership to be affected by them.
great reply Ramsey, got it.
Dave Ramsey just gave himself away here.
Look up what has been going on with the organization.
You don’t quit you just stay in suffer. That’s your life. No one cares if you’re happy or not don’t worry. It’ll all be over soon.
I just did it today. I have suffered 2 yrs of my @sshole smoking co-workers making me sick!
this is solid advice from them
Funny I got an ad about timeshares on Dave’s video 😂
HR.. Stands for human remains. They don't know how to deal with the toxicity either 😢
Thanks Dr Phil
This makes no sense. She probably knows someone that works for Ramsey that is thinking about quitting.
Nurse= red flag.
Idk but this sounded like you don't think there's ever a toxic boss. Im 53 years old and have always worked hard and there are a ton of toxic employers! The women that called in sounded sincere and even traumatized by her work environment. Thr response to her seemed very condescending, not sincere, somewhat accusatory like shes a quiter cause she needs to protect herself from office abuse.
He's right tho. Leave quietly
Perfect email:
“Dear (human resources manager),
I hereby tender my resignation from (company) effective immediately.
Sincerely,

Ramsey is a toxic boss
Hmm idk I’m weak I guess cus I hit my breaking point and called my boss out and the energy sucking environment
