Yeah it's like when they used to the massive space Lego base sets and ship sets in the late 70's and 80's. I have those set up in a display at home too.
This AT-TE is amazing. My son, 8, is a huge Clone Wars fan and it's been the centerpiece of hundreds of battles. After each battle, I track down all the pieces and put it back together again. I picked it up about 3 years ago with a huge lot of 2008-09 LEGO Star Wars sets. Best investment ever. We love these Clone Wars sets.
That regular trooper is ridge, if you watch the movie, Rex and one trooper are left standing waiting for obi wan. And seeing that ridge was on the Venator in the last season being killed by maul! Ridge is a named figure.
A colleague of my Dad’s had a son who was going into his dark age, leaving behind this, the 2007 MTT and 07 Droids BP. Knowing I was interested in LEGO, she gave me them for free!!! I cannot thank her enough, even if they weren’t sealed. A quick clean and weekend of building later, it now takes up it’s own space on my shelf. I love this set!

I’m very grateful to have picked up the 2013 ATTE back on release all those years ago. Especially seeing what all versions of these ATTEs go for now, definitely gonna continue to keep that set in pristine condition
The AT-TE was the first Clone Wars era set I ever got along with the V-19 Torrent, so it will always have a special place in my heart. I’m happy you did a review for this set. Thank you.
This was a great deal at $90. Man I wish I had a time machine and stock up heavily on these kinds of sets, worth 6 times their original retail price nowadays.
My mom got me this set for my 12th birthday and this was my 1st "big" lego set and I had so much fun with this as a kid! I'm gonna be including it in an upcoming MOC of mine! I modded a control panel into the front half of the walker so my Rex and Cody could monitor the incoming Droid army I had and develop a strategy
As a kid my brother got this set and I got the 2008 gunship. First big sets we ever got. Still have both sets to this day, still two of the greatest sets ever made.
I picked up this set for $20 sealed at a garage sale. apparently the lady bought it for her grandson a long time ago and it never actually got to him. Truly a once in a lifetime experience. my favorite experience with the at-te is converting the gunship into a drop ship. I removed the floor and doors and made some kind of attachment point. 😂
Hey Ryan, I just looked it up and (maybe you said that later in the Video) but the sticker for the STAP is on the sicker sheet. It's very hard to see because white on white isn't easy to spot but it's there. It's right above the two stickers for the dark gray wedge pieces. Or if you hold it with the black marker on the left side it's in the top left corner
This set came with extra clone commander helmet attachments, including two flash lights and range finders. I always gave Captain Rex a range finder not the visor, like he had in the show/ movie
The front section (I have this kit) is made just right with the space. You can seat Ashoka with her lighsaber out (enough room), Anakin and Rex behind the the storage standing. Plus little Rota figure fits in that empty center space to the front of the seated figs. They all fit perfectly there. Then enough room in the back if you seat them right for at least 6 Troopers. They designed those interiors back then for play for kids. So it's not tight cramped in spaces. So kids and freely move figs in and out. And once you set them, all the empty space you saw in the beginning now looks perfect with the figs in place.
I wish I was smarter when I was 4-6 and bought this AT-Te. I got the new 75337 one to make up for the heartbreak of not having this one, but it is nothing compared to the Old Clone Wars sets.
The reson that it only comes with one regular clone is because in the clone wars movie that the at-te was based on Rex and one clone where left fending against a ton of battle droids
It gives me so much pain .... to see this set. I was young and I couldnt buy it then and now Im waiting for new At-Te with tears in eyes! This is my favourite vehicle in star wars and I need it to be rereleased.
The clone trooper doubles as a pilot, gunner, infantry, artillery, and a jedi. But you're lucky we even put a clone trooper in the set because minifigures are just a side bonus.
I attempted to modify the hell out of this set, essentially rebuilding the entire thing with fully posable legs, flexible center, etc. Over time I gradually lost interest in working on the set and used the parts on a custom AT ST, which is turning out quite nicely
Correct me if i am wrong but did anyone else notice that rex had the wrong visor for me he had a rangefinder( i had that in my battle for geonosis canon which is still a great set in my opinion)
Imagine another whole clone wars wave of clone wars vehicles that won’t retire for years and years with battle packs and everything… if only LEGO listened to the fans…
I honestly don't care about the box. Only the the actual set matters to me, hence I can get these sets much cheaper. I have gotten the Venator for $180 with minifigures, 6210 Jabba's sail barge with minifigures for $230 and the 10143 UCS Death Star II for $550. I also got the 6211 Star destroyer for $120. I started doing this in 2020 and my collection is growing rapid.
