I would highly suggest you use a reconed target stpt not a pre-planned threat stpt for a POS shot, threat stpts can be very unprecise compared to a reconed target stpt
I've never used reconed targets with the HARMs, since I don't have much faith in its inertial guidance if the threat isn't emitting. If it emitting, a shot at a preplanned threat steerpoint that is close enough should be more than enough to be accurate with any of the submodes, even the narrower one, EOM. But what you're suggesting is definitely something I'll have to try out.
@@fisgasfighties theyre not cruise missiles but firing at the most precise location definately helps
@@fisgasfighties What he means by 'reconned steerpoint' is that the sam site has to be visible on the 2d map. If it's not there then the PPT will only be in the general area of the sam
Ah yes, absolutely! I wouldn't recommend creating preplanned threat steerpoints unless the exact location of the air defense system is known.
