- TCU walk on women's basketball player Sarah Sylvester receives a standing ovation when she comes into the game vs. UCF late in the third quarter, 1/23/24.
TCU's squad has been hit hard with injuries and only have seven healthy scholarship players. The Lady Horned Frogs' b-ball squad recently held an open walk on tryout and Sarah is one of four women who made the team after those tryouts. Sarah is also on TCU's volleyball team. She played high school basketball in Michigan at Bloomfield Hills Marian.

That's a great story. Sarah Sylvester and the other walk-ons helping out the basketball team when they were needed the most.

that look on the UCF's players face at 1:23 is the face of someone who thought they were about to have an easy time. they couldnt even get her the ball because of sylvester's D on that first posession......... and then they lost the game.....

She's got height for sure. Maybe work on a fake or a quicker release when shooting, and I suspect she'll make another highlight reel before the year is out.
