To know and understand a little more of how much hard work you have put in to get to where you are is very precious. May the gods of the sawdust continue to inspire and grow you and the many others that you reach.

Saw you on Dainer Made, and went to the link he put on his page. Love what you did for his son and his Papa with the bench. Watched this video and you got another subscriber. Love your approach to woodworking and your attitude of never stop trying. Love the work your doing. I'm building a house with a woodworking shop. I retired a couple of years ago and now I've finally got some time to do some woodworking. I'm planning on using scrap wood/pallets and milling my own wood much like you and Dainer have done. I'll be teaching my 5 grandkids that live adjacent to my property, and think teaching them how to repurpose old stuff into new is a valuable lesson. Love to see what other projects you have planned.
Hello! Firstly, a big thank you for taking the time to jump from Dainer Made's channel to mine. Mark is a great friend and a phenomenal woodworker, and I'm honored to have been able to contribute to his son and Papa's bench. It's heartwarming to hear that my work resonates with you, especially as you embark on this new woodworking journey in retirement. The idea of using reclaimed materials, such as pallets, and passing on the art of repurposing to the next generation is something very close to my heart. Your grandkids are fortunate to have a hands-on, resourceful, and environmentally-conscious role model in their lives. The skills and values they'll inherit from you will undoubtedly serve them well. Stay tuned for more projects on the horizon. And as you progress with your woodworking endeavors, I'd love to hear updates and maybe see some of the magic you and your grandkids create in your workshop! Warm regards, Jesper
Thanks Jesper! I really needed this video today! I was about to give up yesterday, but thanks to this video I got some extra energy and started building the infrastructure around my workshop! Keep up the good work! Lots of love from Halland, Sweden!
Jasper, you are an amazing person! You inspire people a lot by your simplicity and video documentation. I wish I had space and natural spaces like yours. Great pleasure to see your content. Big like and greetings from Israel.
Your channel is one of my favorites. It’s a combo of interesting wood projects, editing style and comedic narrative! Keep it going. That was a cool timeline of your experience and channel growth. Thx for sharing
I can relate so much to this. I only started wood working and refinishing furniture a couple years ago. Then my kids thought I was nuts to start filming my projects and getting them on RUclips. It’s so much work, it’s like I have multiple full time jobs. I rarely rest and when I do my brain has a hard time shutting off. I really enjoy your videos and am glad I found you. 🥰
Congratulations Jesper. Your videos on wood making are great and inspired me to start doing my own wood work, but also you are funny and entertaining. That's what keeps your videos so enjoyable to watch. You have a knack for both.
At ~11:59 is this GORGEOUS square table made with log cookies and structural wood pieces floating in a stunning light Cerulean blue "sea" of epoxy. The corners are supported by [bar-bell?] shaped ties (as opposed to "bowties"). The effect is incredibly beautiful-- artistry at its finest! Secondly, you seem to have discovered the magical secret to telling a story-within-a-story: your progress shots of chopping down that tree interspersed with the progression of the video's story perfectly meshes! Brilliant! Love your work! Love your videos! Love your art!
@@JesperMakes I wasn't trying to win an award for "best compliment", just saying what I felt. Anyway, your wife sounds sweet. You do have a way with telling a story within your videos, and I love it. Please continue!

I was so happy to finally see a new video! Your work is very inspirational and your video's are hilarious. Please don't ever stop doing what you do! Thank you!
What an incredible journey. You might be my favorite woodworker/maker on RUclips and your sense of humor is just awesome! Please don’t ever stop me videos. You’re my inspiration to start my own channel. Love all the work, you do keep it up!
You seem like such a nice guy and the honesty and hard work in your videos makes you unique. You are an inspiration to me and one day soon I want to start my own RUclips journey.
Holy moly. You chopping that chunky tree with the handaxe is such a nice metaphor for your journey. Also an inspiring one at that. Nice to hear your story man.
What a journey. And well deserved credit. I think I subscribed a few months ago, after RUclips fed me your your epic work bench video first ... and then I watched the pallet bedroom video ... Those other makers at the end of your videos? I actually have never heard of any of them! HA HA ! And I watch a lot of videos on woodworking projects! I enjoy your videos because of your humor! Don't stop making videos. Maybe I'll go check out those other makers sometimes ... Maybe ..
Thanks for following my journey and for subscribing to my channel! I'm glad you enjoy my videos, especially my humor. It's always great to hear from fans who appreciate my work. And don't worry, I won't be stopping anytime soon! As for the other makers at the end of my videos, I encourage you to check them out. They are all talented woodworkers and it's great to support and learn from the community. Hope to see you around!
Facts: everyone starts some how. It's not always great until it gets great. Everyone calls that experience. Well you gained that experience by doing what's needed to be leared by others and research. Glad you made it.
Very interesting story Jesper. Showing again and again that success is within us. Not somewhere outside. Not in other people hands. It is in ours. Ours to make. Ours to judge. Ours to thrive and be happy soul on this earth.
So happy for you! You are one of my favorites, Jesper! Your projects are amazing and your videos are top notch! Next goal... 1 million subs by Jan2024!

Jesper......this is incredible. I loved your videos from the first time I saw them. You are authentic and that comes through in every video you make. The humor you inject is hilarious as well and the projects motivate me to build stuff and just get moving. I love how you ended this video with "You don't need anyone's permission". Keep it up brother and love to you and your family.
Stumbled upon your channel via @dainermade! Great story you have there! And chopping that large tree as a measure of your success was a brilliant use of symbolism!!! Wishing you success from the USA!
Hey, big shoutout to @dainermade for the introduction! Glad you enjoyed the story and caught the symbolism with the tree. What's your go-to woodworking project? Cheers from across the pond! 🛠☕
@@JesperMakes , my woodworking varies from project to project. Mostly gift related items. Will be getting more into cabinet making in the future as I refurbish my boat. But always something new and interesting to learn from experienced woodworkers!

I had heard of your channel by another woodworker but honestly this was the first time I watched. I am unmotivated with the editing as I have several recordings but also have a full time job that pays well with retirement! But honestly I get more satisfaction in the shop! Congratulations on your success!! Hopefully I can grab the motivation to go full time in my shop!
Thank you for taking the time to watch my channel and for the kind words! I'm glad to hear that you find inspiration in your woodworking hobby, despite having a full-time job. Making videos takes a lot of time and effort, especially with editing, but the satisfaction and joy it brings is worth it. If you ever decide to take the leap and pursue woodworking full-time, I wish you the best of luck! Just remember to keep doing what you love and the success will follow. Keep in touch!
Great video. I too just started really getting into woodworking in November of 2020. It’s been great. I’ve made and given away and sold lots of cutting boards, and small tables and other little projects. I’m just finishing up building a 10’x12’ “shop” so I can start building things all the time. For the past 2 years I had to do all my woodworking outside, so if the weather was to hot, to cold or raining I could work on anything. Inspiring story, keep up the great creative work.
You're such a huge inspiration to me and my woodworking I do at home. I've built many things, from my wife's computer desk, to shelving in my laundry room, signage for my favorite sports team, and cutting boards for friends and family. I haven't earned a ton of money with my projects as most of them have been for myself, but I feel more and more confident that I can do anything I put my mind to. So I say, "Thank you, Jesper. Keep making your videos, we as a community appreciate them so much."
@@JesperMakes Thanks VERY much for the kind reply, Jesper. Your E-pallet breakdown video(s) have been viewed repeatedly and helped me a lot, and I want to do pallet-walls as well. I've started doing videos (almost all "shorts") this year (on "Debt End Street"), and you are definitely part of the inspiration and motivation to learn real woodworking skills (and get past the perfectionism that has stifled me for far too long). So much to learn, and I'm really (REALLY) slow, but I'm having a great time and have big goals for woodworking and more. I'm "Blessed & Grateful." Sincere thanks, again.

Warm regards,
Jesper
Thanks Jesper!
I really needed this video today!
I was about to give up yesterday, but thanks to this video I got some extra energy and started building the infrastructure around my workshop!
Keep up the good work!
Lots of love from Halland, Sweden!
I'm so happy to hear that Patrik! Let me know if theres anything I can do to help.
Thanks for this video - you are an inspiration to those of us that aren't as far along in the process as you are.
You can do it! Thanks for watching!
Jasper, you are an amazing person! You inspire people a lot by your simplicity and video documentation. I wish I had space and natural spaces like yours. Great pleasure to see your content. Big like and greetings from Israel.
Thanks 🙏 much appreciated.
Your channel is one of my favorites. It’s a combo of interesting wood projects, editing style and comedic narrative! Keep it going. That was a cool timeline of your experience and channel growth. Thx for sharing
Wow, thanks!
Yeah RUclips is a real job you'll need to prioritize. Thanks for making such a nice comment.
Very inspiring for a beginner woodworker like myself. Keep it up.
Thanks, will do!
Congratulations Jesper. Your videos on wood making are great and inspired me to start doing my own wood work, but also you are funny and entertaining. That's what keeps your videos so enjoyable to watch. You have a knack for both.
Thanks Kim, much appreciated.
This is probably the best comment I have ever seen. Thank you so much, I read it to my wife and she almost started to cry. Thanks again. Jesper
@@JesperMakes I wasn't trying to win an award for "best compliment", just saying what I felt. Anyway, your wife sounds sweet. You do have a way with telling a story within your videos, and I love it. Please continue!
I am a first-time viewer and your honesty and humility were so refreshing I just needed to finish the video and subscribe... All....keep up the good work and be certain not to outgrow yourself.
Thanks 🙏
This is a great video to watch over morning coffee. Set's the day right to start off with a good story.
Hope you had a good day, and thanks for the watch
I was so happy to finally see a new video! Your work is very inspirational and your video's are hilarious. Please don't ever stop doing what you do! Thank you!
Thank you! Will do!
What an incredible journey. You might be my favorite woodworker/maker on RUclips and your sense of humor is just awesome! Please don’t ever stop me videos. You’re my inspiration to start my own channel. Love all the work, you do keep it up!
Wow, thank you!
The anonymous bench buyer. You are a truly wonderful human being.
And not so anonymous it seems, haha thanks
Thanks for sharing Jesper. What an amazing journey you’ve had!
Thanks mate 😊
You seem like such a nice guy and the honesty and hard work in your videos makes you unique.
You are an inspiration to me and one day soon I want to start my own RUclips journey.
You can do that Steve, and let me know if I can do anything for you in that regard. Cheers mate
Holy moly. You chopping that chunky tree with the handaxe is such a nice metaphor for your journey. Also an inspiring one at that. Nice to hear your story man.
Thanks 🙏
Thanks 🙏
Perfect pairing of hardwork and humility. Mix in some humor and that was all I needed to subscribe and watch. Keep it up Jesper
Welcome aboard!
This video is wonderful. So happy for you all.
Thanks 🙏🙏
Never give up my friend, your videos are very interessting and light hearted!
Thanks 🙏
Very interesting story Jesper. Showing again and again that success is within us. Not somewhere outside. Not in other people hands. It is in ours. Ours to make. Ours to judge. Ours to thrive and be happy soul on this earth.
Well said, couldn't agree more...
So happy for you! You are one of my favorites, Jesper! Your projects are amazing and your videos are top notch! Next goal... 1 million subs by Jan2024!
Fingers crossed! 😱
I love these, how I got where I am videos. This one is particularly good because you're living the life I want to live. Best of luck for the future Jesper.
Cheers! Anything specific you're planning to start with on your woodworking journey?
@@JesperMakes Once I've saved up enough to get a jointer/planer, I want to build a hardwood coffee table for my lounge.
Awesome!
On my journey to watch every single your vidios jasper!!! Dont give up!!! I have suggested your vidios to my friends!!!
You're the best!
Nice one Jesper. I get braver everytime I watch you. I'm in the middle of throwing a guest bed together from pallets and fire wood towers. Thankyou.
Sounds brilliant, keep up the good work 👌👌
I really enjoy your videos! I've watched all of them -- some several times! Please keep making them and making stuff! 😀
Wow really? Thanks 🙏
Thanks man, much appreciated.
Love it, love your videos :)
Well done on 100K ... and making me smile
Thanks so much!
Congratulations, Jesper!! Love your videos and your sense of humor!!
Glad you enjoy it!
it's nice to catch your behind scenes/story Jasper...and I'm proud to be one of your 100,000 subscribers...well done mate....
Thanks 🙏
Refurbishing a boat sounds like a massive but rewarding project! Cabinet making will definitely come in handy there. Don't forget, coffee solves everything when you hit a snag. 🛠☕
Good for you Jesper. I really love watching your videos. You, Dainer Made and Morley Kurt have inspired me to start wood working, especially using pallet wood. Keep up with the good work and quality videos Jesper!
Thanks Rob!
Really lovely to hear your story, and i am so glad you can wake up anytime you want to have your coffee even though you still do in essence have a boss😜. our lives are richer because of your youtube channel 🙏 am staying for your mistakes and humour
Thanks 🙏 I makes me very happy to read your comment here. Thank you so much
Congratulations Jasper 🌱 I love your videos. I learn Soooo much.

Never stop you passion! I have been making fine furniture for over 20, from hobby to business. Congratulations to you and thank you for taking the time to make the video's!
Thanks for the kind words 🙂
@@JesperMakes I am ever honest and as a woodwright ....your skills are amazing!
You’ve come such a long way, become part of a wider community and have produced some amazing projects and videos.
Do not stop what you’re doing, hard work pays off and I really believe you have just scratched the surface with your potential on this platform.
Put it this way, I was excited to see your name pop up again on my feed!
I'm so glad to hear that mate!
Love it Jesper, you are truly and inspiration. Thank you for continuing, and including us in your journey.
Thanks 🙏
Love the channel. Your content might be (a bit) rough around the edges, but it feels incredibly genuine and you can see the love you put into it.
Rough around the edges? 😁 I do my best smoothing things out, but I guess a bit of edge is a good thing 🤠. Take care mate
What's not to like?.... You're an inspiring person. Love your honesty and storytelling. You make me want to pursue my dreams that look very much like what you're doing. Thank you!
Go for it! Pursue those dreams!
Keep doing what you're doing... love both your woodworking and your videos.. You are inspirational!!!!

What a very interesting journey. So glad you have persevered as look where you are now!😀 Always keep going and have faith in yourself. You never know where you may end up and what you will achieve 👍
Thanks 🙏
Well-deserved. Hats off from a fellow Dane. Godt gået!
Tak Thomas!
An inspiring stories of Jasper Makes....Congratulations Jasper!
Thanks 🙏🙏
Thanks 🙏
Really enjoy your story and the delivery of the message. Thanks.
Thanks Joe! Much appreciated 👍👍
Hi Ryan, thank you so much for your comment. I think you build more than I do, so happy to hear from another woodworker. Cheers from Denmark 🇩🇰🇩🇰
Amazing story. Thank you, Jasper.
Thanks 🙏
You & Dainer have me completely hooked. Learning great stuff & enjoying the wit & admiring the persistence & creativity. Thanks & cheers!
Hey Tim, thanks a lot. Yeah @dainermade is a great inspiration for us all.
Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Keep making. God bless.
Thanks, you too!
hi jesper , thank you for this video i am starting woodworking and have a stack of half cut pallet wood that will hopefully become a countertop , this video is bringing me so much emotions . i had a really bad day at work and really felt down and watching this video did really bring tears to my eye because it showed me that it is possible for me as well to be able to do this as a living.
Thank you, much love
Max from canada
Hi Max, so glad to hear from you. We all have bad days. The main thing is getting back on the horse, do something you love and don't let the bad days take you down. Let me know how you're doing mate, connect on Instagram if you want. Cheers, Jesper

Pretty sure I am going to be one among thousands of others on here saying congrats on your achievement. Such a humble man Jesper but that’s the appealing bit I guess for most people. You come across as “I am just an ordinary guy” but Jesper you have done extraordinary things since your starting point. Well done and thanks for the inspiration you give me.
I can promise you I'm the most ordinary of all the ordinary guys here 😁. Thanks for your comment, now go build something 😉
@@JesperMakes well yes of course I will. I am currently making a workbench to incorporate my Dewalt worksite table saw. I am finding it frustrating since a lot of wood workers make it look so easy but in reality “mistakes are made” oh well
Lovely! I'm so happy for your success - well deserved. You are a great story teller with just the right amount of craziness for my taste.
Ahahaha thanks my brother and neighbor 😂
Like the previous personal who commented, I also just stumbled across your channel and it's a breath of fresh air. Long may you continue to mak these videos and amazing projects too. Awesome stuff.
Thank you so much!
Excellent work, keep pumping out the videos!
Will do my best 🙂
Great content. Well done. Soothing to the soul. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is the best maker video I have seen! Well done Jesper! I've been subscribed for a few months and I get a little giddy when I see you pop up with a new video. Keep it up!
Thanks do much Eric
That point where you only had 500 subs, that is where I am now! You are such an inspiration Jesper and you deserve to have grown to over 100k subs. Roll on the next 100k my friend!!
Thanks, and don't give up mate. Thanks for the encouragement.
Well done so far Jesper and good luck for the future, I'll be looking out for you videos
