i dont know - the first few seconds of the trailer shows operators dressed like a Christmas gingerbread cookies taking down actual and believable military soldiers. i think that sums up my thoughts well enough.
1. Them adding or re adding the stadium back in as a 'new' map does feel like a major jip.
2. Those stealth bombers , to me, look more like drones/UAVs.
This team doesn't know how to make believable flying physics/animations.. Everything flys like its a mobile game unfortunatly
Actually, Stadium looks like an awesome re-work, it was my favourite flag of the map (back in the day). I welcome the 2x infantry biased maps. At this point I give DICE a cautious 'well done' slap on the back.
What we should have gotten after nearly half a year with no content:
S7 Launch:
New Map Haven
Another New Map
4 New Weapons
1 New Gadget
2 portal weapons (XM8 Rifle Variant, M98B Sniper)
New Bomber Jet
Quality of life changes
7.2 update:
Breakthrough support on select portal maps added into the map pool for breakthrough silmilar to conquest 64 map pool
SFAR without underbarrel launcher
Hourglass Stadium (I don't care for this type of map but I know that other people did want it. Just not advertised as a "new map"
because it is not a new map which is where the frustration is coming from.
A new game mode
Season 8 will most likely be the final one. Unless I'm mistaken, when DICE announced year 2 of support for 2042, they said a "full year 2" so that would mean 4 seasons. I wasn't expecting anything over the top when they said map(s) but 2 additional play areas is better than 1 even when Stadium is just a chop of Hourglass, but they shouldn't have advertised as new.
advertising Stadium as new is fine since they absolutely ruined the Hourglass map.
I wanted to add there isn't any SOLO play in the new maps.
As developers, they should be continuously be creating content after each drop. Like the old days of Premium, they would drop a DLC then immediately start working on the new set of maps for the next DLC. For the next game, I want a minimum of 2 new maps at the start of each season, then 2 additional maps drop mid season so a total of 4 maps per season. If they could do it back with Premium there really isn't an excuse not to for a live service model.
Looks good considering how terribly this games life went, definitely will be jumping on to check it out.
I played the new map. There isn't anything new with the way the game is being played. The game isn't leaving me with the feel of something new. But just a refresh. I dumped more then100 rounds into a player and he didn't go down and someone shot the same player with a rocket. I saw it hit the player point blank and the player still didn't go down. So I quit the game. What is this saying to me? The game still is SH-which needs more work and weeding. I miss what BF used to be in BF 3 and BF 4. The game makers are spending time more with HACKERS than putting out a game that all players can enjoy.
Disappointing Season 7, I didn't see the M224 infantry mortar I needed.
I just want the AN94 available outside of Portal mode.

@@Nitroh- I wasn’t attempting to rage bait, Im honestly surprised that the game is still going. I don’t play FPS games very much, but I remember Battlefield 2042 made a big hoopla based on how broken it was.
very mediocre game... it looks they only tried to patch it up...
I hope the next game will be good from the get go
